    I got in trouble the other day at the Ambulatory Care Centre in Hamad Medical City for not having long pants. They were long shorts covering knees but still not allowed. Security were nice enough to let me in this time so I could keep my appointment. I honestly didn’t realise this applied for hospitals.

      Personally, I find it Absolutely Insane Being Forced To Cover (virtually) your Entire Body (Especially The Women) In Black Fabric/Garments once you leave your house/living quarters, In The Type Of Climate That Qatar Has (I wonder whether Heatstroke is common in Qatar!?!)!!!

      @@mariusmatei2946 It isn't always black, but staying covered in the right fabric is better than having your skin exposed to the harmful sunrays. The Islamic dress code is an extention of the cultural attire which was created to combat the heat and sun rays.

      @@qurratulainhaseeb7251 being all covered up, is exactly the opposite to cooling down, as the fabrics/garments that you're wearing (Especially Of Dark Colours), Are Trapping your body heat, and, thus, causing you to Overheat; There Is A Reason That People Who Live In Temperate, Four Seasons Climates, Wear 2-3 Layers Of Clothes During Winter, And (Very) Lite Clothes During Summer!

    Yeah, these are great. I have seen people from many countries disregard etiquette/culture in Middle Eastern countries, and in other countries. Some immediately remedy when others point out the faux pas or offensive act or clothing. Others, just too arrogant. I enjoy these posts!

    When it comes to recording people.... what if I'm recording fans from around the world? Can the Qatari police tell me to delete that as well, or does it only concern when you recording the locals?
    Im flying in 4 days... and still on the bench should i bring my professional gear or just a GoPro.

    A bit a specific question for you:
    Would it be considered rude or weird by other people visiting the place or working there if I knit at a caffe while drinking my coffee alone or with my friends.
    In my country people are pretty cool about that but some of my friends from other countries are saying it is weird. What about Qatar? Thanks ))

    ...and don't walk onto a beach after 6pm.😄. While visiting Qatar's, i didn't know about this one. So I went and dipped my feet and the guards started whistling at me to warn me.🤣🤣🤣.

    What it's required in Qatar is nothing more that a gentle person should do in any other place in the world. Courtesy, respect are appreciated regardless where you are and should be standard behavior of every guest regardless where he's.

    Can you make a video telling citizen to talk with tourist with some respect and bit of love. My mother who is elderly and a #teacher came as a tourist purpose she was clicking photo of one of the attraction & one of Arabic women come & raise her voice on my mother and she was scared.

    Is it appropriate for a foreigner (and non-Muslim) to greet people in Qatar using "As-salaam 'alykum" or just "As-salaam?" I'll be traveling to Doha for business in a few weeks and will be attending several meetings with our business partners in the area. I was always under the impression that this was only a greeting between people of the Muslim faith.

    Salaam love your vdos- few thing about your country I recently visited. Some of the most rudest people I have met in middle east- immigration staff almost refused to acknowledge by etraaz as the date showed 10-5 -22 thats american way of saying oct fifth and she challenged saying it was may 10th😤.secondly if a caucasian person says Asslamuwalaikum_ many folks dont even answer as they think all caucasians are infedels. Finally qataris need to realize due to new global infotech wealth- many people around world is wealthy now( regardless of race and country of origin) . You are awesome- hope your country men were sensible and kool like you- qatar have lightyears to be near emirates .

    Mr.Q let people know that anything named international (example international dates festival) are meant for families or couples in Qatar. Bachelors are not allowed to visit those places. We Qatar residents hate bachelors and treat them as alien unless they are Western citizen or Qatari. :D

      Don’t worry it’s not a big deal, Qatar has a lot of foreigners and we deal with them daily.

      Donot worry about that.. they are the best among forgivers. They forgive a lot. It is not as you think. life is easy. the best part is dont worry about your house, kids and we dont even lock the doors while sleeping.(this is the best part i love)

    Most Specially Homosexuality... i remember one of crew had a slash or being whipped... after the Ramahdan this person was sent home back here in the philipines... this person boarded the airplane last due in speculation this person was in handcuffs. Then he was allowed to board the plane last... and you can't look or staring at woman... and you won't allowed to walk at night or midnight... there strict about this.
