    Thanks for being short and sharp here. Put aside crimes like stealing food.
    Do you notice that your answer assumes that crime doesnt happene because:
    (1) Crime is great fun.
    Imagine how fun it is to joyride as a teen.
    (2) Assume govt can fix poor or neglectful parenting
    (3) Assume that a sense of entitlement is not a part of crime.
    Have you ever noticed the very strong and intense sense of entitlement that many indigenous people have towards non indigenous people?
    Im not sure of the numbers, but i see it all the time.
    An attiitude of "this land should beling to us, not others".
    To such a (socially acceptable) racist mindset, isnt stealing getting your rent money?
    Wouldnt vandalism be revenge?
    I dont agree witb your thesis at all here, because of that.
