Wish Quansheng would come out with a UV-K7 using this chip. Maybe a little larger, with a larger speaker and larger display. 👍
And more advanced micro controller so that we can fit into it larger firmware!
I'm Curious what this V2 board will add compared to the V1 . I currently have a V1 working, a V2 arrived and a V3 is on the way. Can't wait to see the next video. Today I installed the M24M02 Eeprom aswell and am currently testing the Fagci Firmware you recommended in your last video.
There are two more different boards, 1 similar to v1 but with 7 component filter, and a new one, without preamp but with 11 component filter.
This for the info. Will you be doing a mod video on the board with audio amplifier?

Yes Sir. v2 with preamp should arrive by May 9th, plus or minus, so when I get it, I'm going to do compare & installation videos. Stay tuned.

If I install the audio amplifier version, do I still need to do the other modifications? By that I mean removing some components and adding the choke at the top left corner and changing a small smd part. Thank you, great tutorials, love the channel.
With preamp you have two choices, 1 antenna or 2. Depending on your choice. Will do install of that board shortly, once the board arrives.
Hi look forward to the v3 board installation video. I am awaiting the v3 at the moment. The different boards are already getting confused.
@@barrymayson2492 Delivery was promised by today, May 9. But today the board only arrived at destination country, pre customs, according to tracking. So it's a bit late. But I'm sure within a week or so. I'm waiting for it myself, because that is the mature version of the mod, and that I will use for myself. Two antennas it is, so that chock does not mess with TWO-WAY part of the radio!
Thank you for your video. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at English and couldn't understand most of your explanation. Is the one displayed in the upper right newer? Is the one you are removing some parts from older? Is it better to buy the one in the upper right?
