£32 for fish and 8 chips is sacrilege
8 fucking hips is an absolute robbery for £32
Depends on the quality of ingredients used.
@@thighg8744this is damn fish and chips not sushi. There isn't much of a ceiling.
@MASTER_AL Clearly you have no idea on the ceiling of quality of different foods out there. If you think sushi is one of the only fish that can be expensive because of fish quality, then maybe stick to McDonald's instead of spreading your ignorance.
Blatant robbery.
£32 for what was on your plate. Daylight robbery.
The kylesku Hotel on the nc500 in scotland charged a woman for 8 chips, a spoonful of mushy peas and 2 fish bites .and shockingly, that was the cheapest meal on the menu.

Cause it was probably incredibly mid

Thats mega cheap. Free gum though? Wtf?

£32 for fish and chips, and they can only give you 8 chips, because if they gave you 9, there’s a distinct possibility that they would go under.
I like your name.
Super KSC.
I love when they said which one was the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad I know now!
which one is that then lol
My first day in London, I literally just got off the plane and I checked out this fish and chips shop right next to my hotel. Told the lady it was my first time in London and it was my first time having real fish and chips. I sat down and she gave me a big deep fried cod and a lot of chips. I don’t remember how much I paid but it was so good. I’ll never forget that.
Ehh I'm sure it was nice and all but real fish and chips are found near beaches.
@@mariakhan7986
Rubbish.
London isn't known for fish and chips. Down south is more known for pie and mash. The best fish and chips are mostly up north. Yorkshire does the best fish and chips. If you go to Yorkshire coastal towns like whitby and Scarborough, they probably make the best in the country. Also, it wont be more than £10, and that'll be with ketchup, mushy peas, and a drink.
I'm not near the coast, but still in Yorkshire and really good fish and chips with ketchup and mushy peas is about £7.50 from where I am.

Yea and her voice just annoys me , don’t recommend this crap channel again please you tube . Thanks
Me and my partner, travel all over the country and make it our thing to try the fish and chips!! Until now, some 80 odd chippys in I would say Jackson’s of Weymouth and Fishers of Hunstanton are clearly about the best 2 in the country so far we would say about 9.8 out of 10 each!!!
I remember going to tower fisheries on my work break when i was painting the apartment across the street upstairs lol
2 different fish, eaten by 2 different people and one shop is right on the beach and the other downtown London. It's apples and oranges at that point!
And not even conclusion
Cod, from the cheap shop, is a more expensive fish than Haddock too!
I was about to say to same thing. I visited london and stayed down town and was always paying about £25 for fish and chips
I get your point, just you sound like "on the beach" is considered a cheap location?
@@basedpatriotLT Not really. he probably means that the fish they have next to the beach is gonna be more fresh than the fish in downtown London.
Five seventy five is the cheapest?, I can find at least five in a four mile radius close to me that are cheaper!
Yep same
£5.50 round the corner from me, get more chips than that as well
It’s £5.75 for a regular (bigger than this) at my nearest shop and it’s considered the posh one in town 😂
4.75 where I live but yes 5.75 is nowhere near cheapest
Wtf there’s no where near me which is so cheap. Cheapest near me is still at least £10
You can get a small fish and chips with mushy peas for £3 in Grimsby. It's not great by our standards but it's probably better than a burnt fillet with 8 potato fingers
considering it's a fishing city, chances are the fish is gonna come fresh
As a Swiss guy 32.- for fish & chips doesn't feel that expensive, that's about 45 to 50 Swiss Francs which is the average cost of every meal in a restaurant.
Why does kerridges look like some posh government building 💀

So which was the best.
My first job was working in chip shop. Flipping burgers and listening to disco on the radio
Loved it.
Nothing beats fresh fat. Fried onions and floury bap. The fish is not so important. Whiting is from the same family as cod and haddock yet it’s substantially cheaper and equally as tasty.

England :32 £ (40.67 US dollars) for 1 plate that isnt even full. Meanwhile in the USA I could spend 50 dollars (39 £) and feed my whole family.

Do you guys get a wedge of lemon with your order, like they serve in NZ? I've always wished UK Chippies would adopt this.
