You forgot the bit where if you are unfortunate to order peas or beans, they put it in a container and NEVER close the lid properly so it bloody pisses everywhere. And also if your order a can of drink, the delivery driver always puts it next to the hot food so it’s as warm as piss when it gets delivered.
I love in a small ish village and a couple months ago the only chippy shut down and if we want to go to the chippy we have to drive 15 miles to the nearest town

Lol I was just thinking it's an Australian staple, and the swordfish wall mount that looks like it's been in both wars. And that smell, it's so specific, like a combo of newspaper, salt, vinegar and just a hint of frying oil. There's usually half a dozen dogs tied up outside with owners that have brought most of the sand from the beach inside. (Source: I'm from Freo)
