I see one of my most favorite mythical creatures in the video. As the legend of the Phoenix has it....
They rise out of their own ashes every few hundred years and are born again. Maybe Fulgrim was, in Soul, a Phoenix. Perhaps he'll come back someday?🌹😍💕

      This is Legendary Uncle!
And Well Deserved...as I feel that Fulgrim has been Unfairly relegated into his "Villain" role, and soo many people either gloss over, or downright forget/ Don't know , the Depth of One of the most Charismatic Primarchs that ever existed. And Also, they see Fulgrims Fall from Grace as something that happened fairly quickly..
When in Reality, He was trapped in a VERY LONG DOWNWARD SPIRAL, That took a good period of time to finally pervert his body and mind to the point where he released his will and control into the service of Slaanesh.
      This masterpiece truly HUMANIZES FULGRIM...
And we see his struggles and trials and tribulations.
And in some ways....IT WASN'T ALL HIS FAULT...
THE EMPORER...BIG DADDY E, AND UNCLE MELCADOR, DID NOT FULLY PREPARE THE PRIMARCHS FOR ALL THE DANGERS AND TRUE EVILS THE GALAXY HOLDS...AND WITHOUT RECON AND SITUATIONAL AWARENESS OF ONES SURROUNDINGS, INCLUDING INFORMATION ABOUT THE ENEMIES STRENGTH AND TACTICS..
ANY CONFLICT OF ARMS IS DOOMED TO FAILURE.
AND THE CASUALTIES WILL BE INCALCULABLE.
Had Fulgrim been prepared for the Threat of Chaos...and was Fully aware of the Destruction it could cause through it's INSIDIOUS NATURE.....
WHO KNOWS? MAYBE ISTVAAN WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED.
Anyways....ANOTHER JEWEL OF A NARRATIVE UNCLE B! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS AND PLEASE KNOW THAT EVEN WHEN I AM HAVING A HORRIBLE DAY.....I NOT ONLY TRY AND MAKE SONE TIME FOR FUN....But I can put on one of your Oldies But Goodies from a past Playlist and things start to look brighter. I Appreciate ALL THAT YOU DO FOR THE COMMUNITY , AND FOR JUST BEING HONEST AND AWESOME!
MAY YOU HAVE THE SPEED OF THE WHITE SCARS IN ALL OF YOUR AFFAIRS! GOOD DAY UNCLE!

I don't like the idea of primarch clones. It is implied that warp sorcery was used in creating the primarchs (I think I'm creating their souls personally) which is what imbues then with physics defying abilities. If they can just be cloned why didn't Emps make legions of primarchs?

The tragedy of Fulgrim… he truly stopped believing in himself… the mental trauma he endured from the very start. To fall so short to temptation… to have the galaxies fate in his hands not once… but twice… and he stopped believing in the one person who mattered most in those moments. Himself

Easily the most Tragic of all the Traitor Primarchs. Once a stalwart and true champion of humanity, up there with Guilliman, Vulkan and Dorn in their care for improving the lot of the ordinary humans of the Imperium, and the dream of what the Imperium could be beyond just warfare, only to be tricked into becoming nothing but just a parody of his own, very human flaws, simply because he didn't know the enemy he faced was an enemy at all.

Had he explained his plan to starve them of their very source of life, human devotion. Had the emperor done this, he could have told his son's that the imperial truth was a lie for the betterment of mankind. He could have accepted the worship of his son Lorgar, keeping the chaos Gods from turning him and Horus later on..The Galaxy burns because one man, could not face up to the fact he was always a god..

I wonder if the clone Fulgrim is the "True" Fulgrim. When he became a Daemon Prince, maybe the vices and insecurities that allowed Horus to turn him stayed with the Daemon while the soul Slaanesh removed was the pure stuff that remained loyal to the Emperor. In essence I wonder if this process had created a Fulgrim who would be impossible to corrupt to chaos because it had all been separated.

    • @LordCommander-ui2fw
      @LordCommander-ui2fw 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

If this is indeed the case, and Fulgrim-true in spirit if not necessarily in body-were to escape or be released from his prison within Trazyn's collection, then so much good could be done. I believe that, fully aware of his sins and humbled by his failures, his first step would be to seek out his brother Roboute, or maybe even travel to Terra and the Emperor himself, and throw himself forward to beg their forgiveness. To shuck all pride and arrogance, to apologize from the very depths of his heart for not being stronger, for not being wiser, and plead with them for a second chance, a chance of redemption, a chance to make right what he did wrong so long ago. While I do not believe that Guilliman would fully trust this new Fulgrim right away(and I can't even begin to guess the Emperor's reaction), he would be willing to give his brother a chance, a chance to do good as he once did, to earn back the trust of the Imperium.

His fall wasn’t one of hatred or malice, instead it was because of his sense of imperfection he saw within self as he compared himself to his beloved father, and that haunt him for years before the Horus Heresy and once he pick up that horrible sword his fate was truly seal to the Dark Prince of Chaos.

Mirror Cracked reduces that to nothing and ruins the character.

Ahh I love the long Version of your Intro with a Passion. But let's talk about the Chicken currently roasting, eh?
Truthfully, I am of the same view as many others with Fulgrim - somebody that is exalted as being good at everything, wanting to be perfect is a shallow and worthless existence, filled only with hubris, built to see it's fall and get the commuppance. However, I do think I differ from others in that I understand this and can aknowledge it - I just can't comprehend it very well.
If there is someting to be said about Fulgrim however, then it is this. Many, especially those that say, he could have done better by doing this and doing that - they are more similar to Fulgrim than they themselves might think.

What breaks my heart is that Clone Fulgrim is pretty much Fulgrim without any of the Chaos corruption clouding his mind. He was HORRIFIED learning everything his original did and the first real independent action he took was to save people from the Emperor's Children and was so compelling, even the corrupted EC Marines, for a moment, almost obeyed him.
