Sport mode theres more to it than that because theres a mode in the default dial position for 6 consecutive images being taken. You glanced over fireworks mode that is valuable because its longer exposure time so you get the full effect of the firework display not just the little bit at the end but the full trail. 😉

We have outdoor led screens. How can I take night pictures of led screen with Nikon coolpix b500. When I try to take its looks like square tubelight
Reduce exposure compensation by pressing the button to the right of OK. You may try Night Landscape or Backlighting mode with HDR.

Yes in the B500 we can't change the shutter speed and it does not have a Tv mode
