I use pre-stretched natural gut on the mains for comfort, feel and power and a round stiff poly like 4G for more control on the cross but strung at mid tension.
I tried different setups. 1. Head radical with multifilament (TRIAX) 2. Yonex Ezone Osaka edition with hybrid. Monofilament in mains and synthetic gut in crosses. 3. Head Extreme Tour with all Multifilament (Head VELOCITY) I also have a few other racquets with monofilament. My favorite is number three, strung at 25kg. I feel a lot less pain in my elbow and shoulder as a get a lot of power and feel. It certainly feels different playing with a multifilament but you get used to the feel. Cheers!!
Extremely helpful. Thank you
Interesting take and experiment
