- Howard Leight Impact Sport electronic ear muffs are the most popular electronic hearing protection that I see out at the range. They’re inexpensive at around $50-60 CAD, they collapse down very small, they have a slim profile that doesn’t jam into rifle and shoulder stocks as badly as bigger sets, and the electronics are OK for the price.

My issue with the Gels on the Tactical Sports is that in storage the cups are being squished. I think this contributes to the 2ish year life.
My Sordins are going on 5 years with lots of use, and those gel cups even when stowed aren't being smushed.
I have had a set for about four years, they’re good enough for me.
Are they good noise canceling ? I need good one for sleep who destroy the noise

Sorry to be so late here, just curious about the 3.5mm input. Other people say that the dial on the headphones control the 3.5mm input too? Not sure how this works. Maybe a different version?

I have those and they work fine at the range but they don’t quite give me enough attenuation so I put on a pair of crappy ear plugs with them and it’s perfect !
I do ear plugs for centerfire rifle or shotgun stuff. Emuffs for ROing or running a match.
Are they good for sleeping ? I need strong noise cancel for peace and quiet ?
Man those OD Green ones looks great, my military base only has black. I like them though nice video….
Edit: mine are legit bought from my military base, however in my package there was no Case nor Extra ear cups, which i saw someone else unbox 😒
Just got mine from amazon and they didn't come with extras either, it must be like a special edition kind that came with the case.

Hi, I'd like to ask if the sport impacts are smaller then the sporttac on the upper part. Im in the army and considering buying one of these, but they must fit under helmet. Thank you!
Hi, I'm considering enlisting in the army (but in Romanian army). Do officers usually let you have your own ear protection headset if they (the army) don't provide you with hearing protection gear? Thanks!

Thanks for the info mate I just bought myself a set today in Australia for $ 135 I got them home after a 3hour drive ,pulled them out of the packet and bam ,the ear cups are to small the fit is as crap as as a dead dingos Donger .
If I was going to give some blokes poor advice buy these and winge for a few years about them being crap before you run them over lol or buy once cry once get the pelator’s mates you won’t look back ( in my opinion)

I have a video showing how to hook em up to a Baofeng radio. Might be better to get a headset with integrated mic though: like the Earmors
@@Huntinggearguy Gotcha. Guessing you referring to the expensive pair of Earmor, but what do you think of the $90 Earmor M32 Mod 3 pair or even the Tac-Sky Comtac III? If you haven't, will you think about reviewing them as a comms setup and as a sound amplification system?

These get worn in the rain all the time and haven't failed yet.
Got a lightly used pair for $25 and gel pads for $12.. Couldnt pass that up. They work great for anything I would ever need! You wont catch me spending 150-$200 on ears 😂 My money is more valuable to me

Let’s just say, I’m too happy too happy in life right now to sit here and watch a video of a bloke that is kinda punching above his belt,
Putting it nicely, he just hasn’t got my attention and his facial movements belittle his viewers!!
So you can sit there and take it while I’ll move on to another video that o personally can handle watching,

Life is too good to be in a place that you don’t feel the positive vibe and sprightly and vivacious.
Please understand that I was not trying to upset anyone nor was I hating on the gentleman presenting the video, in fact, I bet in person he would be a lovely candidate for an intellectual conversation.
Having said that, you tube is an absolutely free platform to watch reviews and spews, so instead of asking why other people have a problem with a certain video or take the time out of my day to instigate an argument that will have no fulfilment,
Instead I simply say my opinion (that’s what the comment section is for) and switch to the next video!!
Isn’t life good, we have such a vast variety of choices in our day and age, we are living in good times, instead of taking the bait and replying with a negative comment, take the time to find something positive from the comment, you also have the choice to say what every you like,
I can’t hold you back from bad choices, but it does show ones true colours!!
Please take this time to reflect on how you read comments and just realise it’s just somebody’s opinion, I would hate to think what they would say about me if I made a video with my head..
