I’m a 90’s grunge kid- but even I loved Jack Russell (own every Nirvana CD and every single Great White CD).
“House of Broken Love” is a masterpiece.

Couldn’t agree more man, House of Broken love is out of this world amazing. Some of the best guitar playing I’ve ever heard

That fire wasn't Jack's fault. You're right Chris, the fire really internally destroyed him and he wore that pain outwardly whenever you saw him ever since. He cared. Glad he's not suffering anymore.

I've only seen him perform once 6 years ago on what I think was called the Hair Nation tour. Even though that concert feels so long ago, I remember it being a memorable performance, and I probably still have some recorded videos from it saved somewhere on an external drive. Bulletboys and Enuff Z'Nuff were the openers and both bands came out to perform with Jack for "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" to close out the show.
    🤘 Rest in Peace

Sad news for sure, he had such a tuneful expressive voice. As a matter of fact I saw Great White this summer and they were excellent live but I still missed seeing Jack. RIP

I met Jack Russell in 1988 and he was a total gentleman. I’ve always loved his voice and of course Great White. I saw them in concert, when they opened for Whitesnake, and it was an awesome performance. God bless! RIP!🙏🏼

Saw Great White a bunch of times in the 80s.... I will say this...Jack was, and still is one of the ONLY singers I have EVER seen who was BETTER live than on the record!!! Can't say that about many singers....RIP JACK!!! A TRUE LEGEND!!!

Saw Great White a bunch of times in the 80's and saw Jack Russell down at M3 and, damn, that dude could still sing. Sounded like 1987ball over again. RIP. Another part of my teens gone.

SIR ! MOAR NEWS N DETH: Greg Kihn
'The musician behind "Jeopardy" and "The Breakup Song," passed away in August 2024. He was a guest on Stuck in the '80s back in 2011, so to honor him, we'll play this episode again, along with some commentary by Spearsy before the show starts. Greg will be missed. One of our favorite interviews.'
They forgot, 'MY ANGEL IS A.....'
ALL THIS means Chris or NEELEY must get on board '...the 2025 lineup of The 80s Cruise is now available and includes Adam Ant, Squeeze, Christopher Cross, Men at Work and Andy Bell of Erasure. Listen to this week's show for a special promo' C'MON SIR ! Get honeymoon suite, big wreck, tea party, LOVERBOY if the singer GETS OZEMPIC ! 300-400 lbs ? ??

LOVERBOY 'KEYBOARD HELP' Scandal UPDATE: I Think it is a definite keyboard press, to activate PITCH CORRECT while the key is held down
Very very thin vocal moments, the singer needs to eliminate red meat from his diet to get the gut inflammation to go down, stop the meatball on toothpick effect !
This worked for me with MOLSON MUSCLE that was far less impressive. ROUND LOOKING MIKE RENO. Add some Secret7 powder that the CMS uses ! - 7 something powder ! GET DON TO TALK TO THE Canadians FFS !
*I meant to say please Chris, help the group, we need an interview with the guitarist who by himself, remastered their 2024 BLU RAY of the 1982 concert - Paul did the BOB LEFSETZ show
Spectacular remaster, maybe brightened too much
+ DRUMMER is weaker, he no longer goes TOPLESS for turn me loose - he had a whole ritual
+search: RED ROCK 2024 LOVERBOY will call up yet another video where at 27:00 in, the keyboard player turns vocal pitch correct ON - my theory

Well the guy passes and we gotta just talk about the fire. Especially the dude on left of screen that says he wasn’t a fan. How can you like rock music and not love Jacks work? Try to talk about all his great accomplishments and vocal abilities

Jack's voice was excellent until the end, one.of the few that could still sing those songs in the later years!

He can only be honest. He can love and respect the dude and not be balls deep into the music. I see no problem. Chris is a hard nut but has a soft core, its not like your thinking.

It's lose - lose for me, and it's fine. If I come on and say "great white was great", all those that listen to the CMS weekly for the last 28 years will know that I'm just lying as I've talked numerous times about the fact that I never was a big fan. Hell, I told both Jack and Mark that directly in various interviews in the past.
But of course, being honest while still respectful of the work and, more importantly, the guy... and I get hammered for it anyway.
Whatever. If opinions are like assholes, then TH-cam comments are like the used toilet paper that keeps those assholes fresh. :P
