Sad that Jack Russell passed away.I was shocked to hear of his passing. MAY JACK RUSSELL RIP âĨïļððžJack , thank you for all the years of great Rock n Roll.ðâðŧâĪïļ
Thanks for those kind words. I remember when I hung up with him I called my friend and just said it was sad to see Jack not doing well. It was clear to me he seemed to be suffering, but I had so much respect for him still putting his heart and soul into music that he loved. Itâs sad to know he is no longer with us.
@@therockexperiencewithmikeb8365 yes Mike, I know, very sad. Now that we know what was wrong with him it is comforting to know that you were so kind with him. And your interviews are always top notch.
@@therockexperiencewithmikeb8365 I met him in the town I live in when Great White played the local club The Attic 2 years in a row and met him before the concert in a pizza joint behind the club (beside ECU)

Hey, thanks for this. I was curious to know a little more about it, as there was not much promotion and what not for it. I have the album, and enjoy it very much. I think it is harder for artists to recall or what might be their favorite when doing songs in this way, remotely. Part of the enjoyment is when the whole band is in the studio and the magic is being created, is what makes songs more memorable. This is not an album to sleep on. It is very good , and I will say, I have kind of dug Tracii Guns as a guitar player, but was just not a big fan of LA Guns songs in general, so great to have him in this line up doing his thing.
I grew up in the 1980's and was into bands like RATT , Motley Crue , Quiet Riot , ect. , but I never got into Great White until 1989 with the song Once Bitten Twice Shy. So obviousley I bought the album and I wouldn't buy another Great White album until 1999's "Can't Get There From Here". I understand why it's Jack's favorite album , theres not a bad song on the entire album.
YOUR A POS! JACK HAD DEMENTIA! AND HE WAS SOBER! MY GOOD FRIEND ROBBY LOCHNER PLAYED LEAD GUITAR IN "JACK RUSSELL'S GW BAND" AND THEY WERE EXTREMELY CLOSE! LIKE BROTHERS! HE TOLD ME JACK STOPPED DRINKING AND DOING DRUGS ALONG TIME AGO! JACK.RUSSELL WAS SOBER! SHAME ON YOU! DO NOT JUDGE!

Mike, you were the perfect man to do this interview. I am sure that he was comfortable knowing that you were taking things slow with him.
