I think it's a real shame that a number of commentators are so vocal in their dislike of this diorama. As Chris from Bantha Skull keeps saying: if this hits the goals, it will raise the entire TVC line. Conversely, if it fails, which it will not, it will damage the entirety of the TVC line. Fingers are crossed that it reaches all the goals. 🤞

Great video Jason, I 💯% agree. The Haslab Cantina is the dream item I’ve been waiting for. Along with Jabba’s Palace it’s my favourite setting from the original films. I just love trying to collect all the different figures that populate it. I don’t have a lot of space so really love the modularity of the set. Cheers. 🏴 #backthebar

I'm backing the deluxe. Wish they include a removable roof and floor. For a Haslab I want it to look like a building than a set. The barge looks like a ship and not a set.

The gamorrean guard that fell down the rancor Pitt with Luke his name was Jubnuk and he was captain ortuggs best warrior and they made him out ta be a coward in the pitt!! Jubnuk was a fierce brave warrior and would have faced the rancor head on with no weapons in battle!!! Instead of running up the slide duck to try and escape!!! He would have joined luke in battling the beast!!!

I thinknwe should stop using the word "playset". These arent really playsets. Just dioramas.
I think they are amazing, but there are no play features or moving parts. Eternia was a "playset". Even the cruddy FreezingChamber. Not a hater. I'm a consumer. FtR, I buy a lot of TVC figs; 2-3 of most, more of the gr8 ones.
I'm really routing for this one too.

Not that u asked, but I'm really waffling on this one. I'm a BIG OT fan for starters & I am ecstatic that they chose something that wasn't modern or D+ related.
Most of the CANTINA looks gr8, but I think it being a diorama is what is holding me back. If it was a true playset and not just modular background, I would almost certainly back it.
I bought Eternia and I LOVE it. It's functional AND perfect for displaying figures, creatures, etc. Maybe its the nostalgic play part of collecting that has always been in the background peeking through & I never noticed, but just buying walls w/ 3x figures is really, really becoming a tough decision.
Plz know that I was RAMPED UP for this HasLab too because I missed out on the RC & passed on the Ghost (cool, but no connection to Rebels). I really, really want more out of this Cantina.
If it somehow looks like ot going to hit the 17k, then maybe I'll jump in earlier, but just clearing the fence isn't going to do it for me...I don't think. Damn those Tonikka figs look incredible!!!! I would guess that many fans feel as I do btw. I love TVC & I have the money. For good or bad, I hope that Hasbro learns GOOD lessons from this, not TVC fans won't support OT or TVC fans are fading away, etc, etc. Idk, just some thoughts from a hard-core fan who is/was dying to spend on this.
If you are thinking about getting it, backing earlier helps. The tiers only unlock if there are enough backers. If you change your mind you can cancel right up to the last day. 😀

I didn't know where to go 😕 and how to pre-order the Sail Barge.. so pay 1,090.00 from a 3rd party... but after that, I bought from HasLab Mando ship and the Rebels Ghost 👻

I will back it but undecided over the version. I doubt I will open it from the shipping box😮 It's just the completionist in me. Only 23 more figures to complete the non-HasLab set to go.

I considered backing it, but would likely only have enough money to back the basic version rather than the deluxe. I think it would be more fun to back the deluxe version, but unless I get lucky and end up with an extra 100 U.S. dollars by the end of June, it's not likely. I've got 3 Nevarro Cantina playsets combined and customized into one big one just in case.

I don't know mate😢 there's no ruddy floor😢 that's rubbish maybe? I watched the making of star wars and really doesn't show how the floor is constructed 😮 I'm thinking some sort of concrete texture??? That could be replicated perhaps in a plaster molded custom??? Blimey!!! What a job that a be mate!!! But worth it I suppose if one wants ta back this project within the next few hours deadline!!!

There's a jabba hut and salacious crumb boxed set at the "POP CULTCHA" Internet toy site. I think it's 180 Australian dollar's.

EB Gamez/Zing are selling it in Australia. The best part is you only need to pay a deposit. You pay the rest when it arrives.

All great points 👉 Im backing 2 Cantinas this Friday so thats another 2 to add to the count! Sadly i dont have the cantina aliens its going to be a pain getting them all but i really want this. TVC world building is why i love TVC. Cant wait to recreate the famous scene with Greedo & Han Solo. And yes Han shot first! Like pops always said, " shot first ask questions later." 😂😂😂
Lights i can add but would have been cool if we got the droid detector machine to have sound. How cool would it be to have the "we dont serve your kind" line when you pushed a button. That would have been cool. Love the poster stickers with all the wanted posters very cool touch! Cant wait that Greedo figure looks amazing. Really hope they reissue some cantina aliens & update ones that really need it. Ive backed 3 Ghost Haslabs & abit disappointed we arent getting more characters. Want season 1 Ezra with his cool lightsaber with the blaster hilt. Asoka & old man Rex. Really wanted Jedi Temple Guards theres like $200 bucks for the annimated version. Also Agent Kallus. At least give us the main characters! Not cool when Hasbro does what they did to Bad Batch we got Hunter yet Black Series have not only whole team they have the new version as well & even Omega!

It will need a special display case so it doesn’t get dusty. I don’t think it would fit in a book case with the depth of it.
It's modular so can be displayed in a book case if you don't mind splitting it up. I'm thinking about finding a special case though, because I think it will look cool complete. Cheers

I don't care if I don't have the accurate figures for the Haslab Cantina. I can put a scene there where a couple of G.I. Joes get into a fight with Darth Vader and Darth Maul while He-Man and the Masters of the Universe are watching the train wreck of a fight.
No real loss for me if this doesn't get made though. There are lot of toys in this world that you can immerse yourself into instead.

I hope we unlock some of the tiers. I expect FOMO will kick in later. But yes, even then it will be rare!
I really have no interest in play sets. I backed every other haslab and im a pass on this unless it hits the 17k, then id pull the trigger for the Wolfman
If the TVC collecting community had the amount of assertiveness as they did "cope", maybe Hasbro could be talked into just including the tiers, instead of only being funded. 3 days left, and hoping to get one tier opened?? Sad. We allow ourselves to be milked, (fine), just stop nickel and diming us. Their plan all along was to give us only 30 days, have this thing end with only the cantina and 3 figs for $4-$500... They put this on the heels of the Ghost campaign. Do you think it's a coincidence?

It's not a priority for some people and I totally understand.
The problem with HasLabs- pay for it and get a year to year and a half later. The floor- why can’t there be modular floor pieces offered to give backers more options if they choose? This would make the overpriced item more appealing to general population.
The buy now receive later is why i will never back a haslab. Ever. Hasbro takes everyones money, sticks it in a high interest account and earns interest on the customers money. Pretty disgusting considering they are the worlds richest toy company. This cantina is grossly overpriced anyway. I cant see it getting anywhere 17k. Im a massive 3.75 inch guy, but really, i hope it fails. Im fed up of hasbro trying to shaft their loyal customers who have been there for decades.
If it fails that's not good for the TVC line. If you don't back for your own reasons, that's fine, but hoping it will fail is unproductive.
The floor argument is not a good one. I guarantee that if they included a floor there would be more complaints about it. It only works as modular without a floor. Cheers
It absolutely is productive if hasbro realize that fans dont want to pay 500 big ones for some plastic worth about 200 bucks tops. They are playing on nostalgia, which is not always a bad business move, but just dont overcharge for it.
I just hate how ropey it looks. So many exposed struts and ugly production looking parts visible, it seems weird
Sorry, but there really is no reason to back this unless you plan on spending over 1K. Let's be real, its already overpriced at 400 and adding an additional 100 for a small section of molded plastic is to high. Not to mention... The majority of figures for this are no longer being produced and it will cost big $$ to acquire them.People trying to promote the sales are much like yourself. They already have most if not all the figures. Not every collector goes overboard with figure collecting. Just saying...
That’s very fair, but I’m willing to bet that the people interested in this already have quite a few of the figures to go with it, or at least have enough figures to populate the cantina. You don’t need to spend $1,000 to appreciate and enjoy this.

I totally acknowledge it's not for everyone. It took me a while to get all those Cantina figures. But I don't understand the crowd telling people not to back it.

I think it looks awesome. Based on past Haslabs, it will never be cheaper. Its rarity will mean the value will go up over time.
