A Tosche Station play set would be so awesome with all of Luke’s friends that were there in the deleted scene.

Not sure if I agree with a shuttle or not but I do agree the next HasLab should be something Clone Wars era to mix things up a bit. I would like a healthy rotation between OT and prequel/clone wars eras with occasional other media mixed in every now and then (as long as it’s popular).
Next HasLab should be a Star Destoyer (w/ traditional Pointed Bow-nose) ~> followed by a Rancor Pit, Pen Play set, compatible w/ Jabba's Throne Room

Great video and ideas! I’d add a Qui-Gon/Maul Tatooine duel carded 2-pack, Pyke soldier, EV-9D9 Cantina bartender, Luke’s landspeeder re-release with Poncho version of the new Luke.

If Hasbro produces a future HasLab they could do a Sandcrawler & offer the droids as well as some Jawas, including the TALL Jawa. A combination of plastic (for the top) & soft goods (for the bottom) is probably the way to go w/any updated Jawas.

The Legacy Collection Dewback is sourced from The Phantom Menace rather than A New Hope - I believe the last 3.75" scale Dewback is the Power of the Force one!

Great list! Disney Parks did a great update to R3-T2 in their recent Obi-Wan Kenobi series Droid Factory four-pack, which has corrected coloring. As for Jawas, I'd love to see the Offworld Jawa redone in Tatooine colors with a proper bandolier, which seems easy enough for Hasbro to do.

Some great ideas, Brett! I think Little Ani is the most important missing TPM figure from the planet. We could also use a much better Qui-Gon. I think there’s a decent chance Hasbro could make Owen and Beru from ANH. Would be epic to see those. Garindin would also be a welcome choice. Agree that a Sandtrooper 4-pack seems imminent. I’d like one carded as well. Could also see them do a deluxe Luke Farmboy w more accessories. Though I’d prefer that to come carded. Much better than the closed box. Also: Pelli Motto is starting to look like a likely addition to the line, given her prominence in the Mandoverse. Thanks for the vid!

I like the idea of the "Return to Tatooine" promotion - as long as it focuses on the cantina. I would prefer that they don't go "squirrel" and go off on multiple tangents without completing any. So, while I agree that we should, at some point, get every figure you mentioned, 2025 needs to prioritize the area in & around the cantina. Sandtroopers, dewback & Jawas - check. Garindan - ok. There are at least a dozen aliens in the cantina that need to be re-released or redone. Bo-Shek & the guy who informs the troopers about Luke/Ben. If you want your cantina to be Mando-centric then EV-9D9 and the aliens in that episode. That's a good 20+ figures at least plus the ones pipelined. Make sure the Cantina Band is put back up for sale in time for the Cantina release. Either redo or re-release the Landspeeder. That should keep Hasbro busy.
Excellent points and I agree with you. I went off on a bit of a tangent regarding the droid sale, but most of what I mentioned we need for A New Hope focuses on things around the cantina and that was deliberate and why I didn’t get into things such as banthas, Lars homestead, HasLab sandcrawler, etc. Campaign should focus on A New Hope but I would love for them to also touch on Tatooine related figures for some of the other media as well. For myself I want a new Wiolsea figure and also a Speeder 9000 (The Stan Solo version is too hard to find at a decent price). That way we could create some great scenes outside the Cantina if it funds. If it doesn't fund then look out for the all new TVC cardback with a 100 cups ratting around inside the bubble.

A Yavin base playset with new characters.
Yeah a Yavin base hangar and an all new X-wing release would be amazing. I think it would have to be a HasLab though.
A four pack that includes Cantina Spacers, includinf Boshek, Yellow outfit/Bossk suit spacer, Danz Borin and a Silver suit man. Technically we would get five new characters!
That would be awesome! I think they will eventually do multipacks of cantina patrons similar to how they have done that for the sail barge/skiffs characters. But it might be awhile before we see those releases. Thanks for watching!
They could release a TVC Sarlacc Pit and Rancor. Both of those items would go well with Jabba's Palace and the Sail Barge and tie into "modern" media.

Cool video! I'm glad you mentioned Watto and the podracer pilots, often overlooked but definitely fit in with a "return to Tatooine" theme. The big one is the Jawas though, and Haslab should seriously be considering a Sandcrawler for their next major project. I know it's a ways off, but fans have been asking for it for years. But first, make the perfect Jawa figure, and release it. Thanks for the insightful video!👍
Agreed, and a sandcrawler is actually my #1 HasLab wish, but it would be gargantuan! Where do you stand on a good Jawa figure? Molded plastic or soft goods?
Love the idea of new carded pod racers ! I need to go through all of my figures , and put a box together for the arrival of the cantina like you've done. Good stuff. Love the ending where you can't control yourself and have to look through all the cantina figures , for probably the 15th time. 😅

I backed the Cantina, but as a primarily Black Series collector, I don’t have storage containers filled with cantina aliens from older lines. I wish Hasbro would come out stronger during the HasLab campaign to pipeline specifics. I’d be massively disappointed if they don’t fill out the cantina with modern TVC versions of all of the background characters. I don’t want a nearly empty cantina… the marketing campaign needs to kick in to overdrive now and reveal more plans for the future. I’d also be pretty disappointed if they never make the figures in the tiers they don’t hit.
Yeah I hope they make a lot more new ones too, but you can put other character figures in a cantina (from different eras too) and it will still look cool in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
@@brettonfett true, but the obsessive compulsiveness in me would get frustrated every time I’d look at the scene and it doesn’t remotely resemble the group of characters in ANH. Is there any word on whether Hasbro will do another stream to encourage more backers?
I have for I guess 20 years wanted Hasbro to focus exclusively on the original films and make new characters such as the guy on the Yavin base with the lamps who directs the fighters out of the hanger, Commander Willard from the Yavin base, the Tonnika sisters from the Cantina in carded form separate from a play set, all Luke’s friends from Tosche Station (individually carded and as an exclusive play set). These are my dream characters at this point.
Can someone please make this happen? Who and how can I contact the appropriate people?
Something Hasbro has brought up that they will consider is HasLabs of Dream Figure Packs consisting of a bunch of figures that are more deep cut type figures that they would likely not make for main line releases so it would be great if they could do those for each film at some point, starting with OT and moving on to PT, Rogue One, etc. Thanks for watching!

Hmm not sure, I think the campaign is strictly for TVC but I do think they want to eventually make many more of the original 96 in Retro Collection.
I agree be cool have the old figure on the back but I do like this version better than early TVC 2.0 🤔 hmm….are we at TVC 3.0 or is it early 2.0 and late 2.0 🤷♂️
It's all still TVC 2.0 now. 1.0 designates the figures made before they cancelled the line back in 2012. When they started it up again in 2015 that's when it became 2.0 and shall remain that designation until they cancel the line again. But agreed, I like the new backs way better than the earlier 2.0 backs. Thanks for watching!
Black Series needs to end and all resources from that need to go into haslab TVC projects and have them mass produced for everyone and not just backers.

Definitely need ANH Owen and Beru at some point along with Lars Honestead playset, I think I was trying to focus on what I’d like to se Hasbro initially bring out and not meant to be a complete discussion on everything I want from the campaign (although I failed to make that clear in my video). That being said I went a bit off track with my droid sale discussion and if we’re going to revisit that scene we need Uncle Owen 🤦♂️. A Clieg Lars figure has never been made so that would be cool to see someday. Thanks for watching!

We definitely need a bantha. I wasn’t very clear about it in my video but I wanted to keep the wish list small for now and mostly focused around the cantina for A New Hope (although I realize I went off on a tangent regarding the droid sale stuff). Want them to first focus on things surrounding the cantina to start. This is why I didn’t get into a Sandcrawler (my #1 HasLab want), banthas, Lars homestead, etc. But I agree we do need a good bantha and obviously banthas are not exclusive to A New Hope but I think the campaign will mostly focus on A New Hope. Just hope if they decide to do a bantha they can get it right. Previous banthas have all been a bit off on their own way. I think it’s hard to make them hairy without looking like a giant hair ball and all molded plastic doesn’t look great either. Thanks for watching!
@@brettonfett I bought 2 of the original Banthas years ago (The one with the straight hair) and yes it looks like a hamster.
However I recently pulled one out of storage to have another look at it. I simply went over it, carefully twisting clumps of hair into little dreadlock-type sections - and the result was actually pretty impressive - It looked pretty close to the real thing. If you have one you should give it a go.

Oola was in Book of Boba Fett? But how is that possible when she got eaten by the Rancor in Return of the Jedi? Anyway, most people agree they will never make her again now that Disney owns Lucasfilm due to her being a slave and her outfit being too revealing.
@@brettonfett I watched the scene again and it is not Oola (BOBF Fett kills Bib episode). But it is a slave that looks just like Oola. So why would they put that in the “new” stuff and not make a figure?

A sandcrawler is my #1 wish for a HasLab. It would be awesome (but also huge!). Wanted to keep my wish list on this video fairly short and reasonable and mostly focused on stuff that can be put around the cantina for now. Thanks for watching man!
