Throtl did an incredible job on this video. I'm only filming a video response to hopefully save their engine from complete disaster. I mention how shimless buckets or DLC shimless buckets should have been used along with a billet timing tensioner. Without these two parts this engine will be in trouble and it's on a matter of time before a valve shim slips out or the non-OEM tensioner snaps. Billet tensioners were created to address the problem of them cracking in half due to valve spring pressure in racing applications.

5.060mm shim pn13751-46030 and 5.080mm shim pn13751-46040 through 5.740mm shim pn13751-46370. Note: the shims increase in 0.020mm and increase in part numbers by 10.

Yeah, they did. In their defense regarding that, I believe that they were sponsored by Advance auto parts to use their parts, so that may be why they used the offbrand instead of the better OEM parts

@@LegitRaceCraft the build is sponsored in part by AAP so that might be it. Their first oilpump completely sized on them too. Had to get that one poor guy drive all the way up LA and back just to pick up an OEM oilpump

There are a few things I could have brought up in that video, but it's not like me to nitpick. The main caps are more than capable for their expected HP level, going over 1000hp is when they're more risky.
