Just found out that video, wow, tha part where you scoop step back sideways and so forth. That is the game changer missing part of my retention game. My new instructor doesn't give us clue to what how when to do the way you do it. Guys will hate me for knowing your stuff now.
He is Back at those vids again? Remember watching His Videos from almost 10 years ago when i started BJJ! I still remember His Back entry and omoplata Videos. Mind blowing!
Dude I love your videos! I really enjoy how you cover so many concepts & techniques, it’s a nice quick review/crash course into each position. Keep up the amazing work bro 👊🏽. OSS
This is exactly what i need! Just completed a 6week beginner course and we covered basic passes, but most rolls started from the ground. In my first few rolls in the main classes ive been getting passed really easily and fimd myself in arm triangles and worlds of trouble within seconds. Will be good to to get back on the mat tomorrow with my elbows tucked in now and a lot better knowledge, thanks subbed for more tips and techniques
Thanks, this was great. I am a blue belt who has been playing a lot more of this style guard, and there was a ton of helpful insight in this video. However, probably my single worst guard position is seated guard in the gi against athletic, aggressive opponents who like to pass on their feet. I find my guard routinely getting passed even by opponents who are brand new to BJJ. I would love the same video in the gi.
Hey, I really like this video! I always refer back to it. I have a question though. How do you know when to use the sit up guard and when to use the guard where you are on your back?
Bro you're doing God's work for the ADHD community in bjj
Good God learning one move in 20 minutes from John Danaher had been gruesome
i had this same thought lol
One of the best concepts I have ever seen in BJJ.
Thanks for the comment!
A lot of gem in a short amount of time.
Really excellent. Thank you.

Excellent video. As a white belt with a paper guard you've given me a lot to work on.

Hey, I really like this video! I always refer back to it. I have a question though. How do you know when to use the sit up guard and when to use the guard where you are on your back?
Thanks for this! Oss
This is great. I hate when people sit n scoot so stuff like this is gonna help me tap em easier.
This is basic but money nothing beyond the basics 💯
