I've been away from BJJ for two years. Right at the tip of getting my purple. Drilling these videos is the perfect way to get back to business! Thank you for these!
I watched a couple of videos about open guard but this is one of the best open guard explanations in such a short video, for instance I started using that feet to the shoulder post from leg pummel more and it really stops a lot of pass attempts.
Thank you! Yeah, these are concepts that I use every single time I train. You'll also notice other high-level experts use them as well. They are "simple" in nature but make a big difference. I appreciate the support!
@@JiuJitsuInMinutesbyJasonScully we worked on open guard in our gym but once i stopped with open guard drills after some time i noticed it became worse so this video really helps to refresh everything
No it doesn’t. As long as you are aware or where your feet are it should be harder for them too attack your feet. Also you shouldn’t be over extending your legs. If you do that then more leg locks will be present. “Knowledge is power” If you have the knowledge of any leg lock risks you have more power to prevent them.
This video is amazing. Noone else explains what you ACTUALLY need to do as clearly as you do. Thank you!
This video changed my game, 1 month white belt and now higher belts are having more difficulty passing
@@WXYZ9998did you tap him? Has he improved much since the last year?
How did you find out it was him.
So many questions!
I got every instructional under the sun. And no one explained it so simple and effective like this. Thank you sir.
This is gold. My focus this year has been guard retention, my guard is terrible. Thank you!
Same here, but I bet your guard is better than you think.
I can’t leave here without saying thank you. This is like at least ten years of experience if I were to figure out myself
The arrows and pauses, along with the commentary work really well. Great work!
Thank you! For this video, they were definitely needed because this is a highly conceptual video!
You, submissions 101, and mma leech are OG

Exelenteeeeee video muy completo. Graxcias 😎😎😎
This has been very helpful! Will there be a Gi Open Guard Concepts video in the future?
Possibly!
Can you do one of these but with leg locks?
Could you comment about when does it make good sense to invert?
wow thanks
How do you decide whether to switch between supine or sitting up? Thank you
Does the feet positioning make it easy for foot locks

Imagine a white belt drilling through each of the videos for 1 week. Where would he be in 1 month?
