what tripod and lens u using?
Heyoo! Just came across your work and absolutely love it. Wanted to ask but for tripod shots in the city, do you leave your backpack / other gear near your tripod for locked off shots or are you just carrying your tripod / camera by hand lol?
Hey man! amzn.to/3GLG6DQ The tripod I use for every trip. And for locked off shots where I am the subject I use tripod always. Sometimes I go handheld when it's just Broll, but mostly tripod. I don't usually go around with a backpack (just camera with peakdesign strap and tripod attached to it)

What lens are you using with the a7cii? I'm trying to look for a compact lens that's still retaining high image quality for travel. Also, what settings are you using for the video quality? It takes up so much storage space at the highest bitrate
I shoot all my videos with Slog3, it takes a lot of space but it's worth it!
And my go-to lenses are the 24-105mm and Zeiss 16-35mm.
Gotta drop that color grading vid next please!

Thanks for the love! and that's a great question. The ZV-e1 is a beast, The only reason I went for the C is I love having a viewfinder for photography, and I wanted this A7Cii to be my main camera for photography, having 33MP, for me that was perfect :)
I enjoyed your video. Is your description right about the lens that you used? It links to a 24-105mm… really? You used one lens for all your shots?
Thank you! And yes, that’s the one! Usually for traveling I try to only have 1 lens as this will keep me from switching and making it more difficult to film myself.

What's the video quality difference between fx3 and a7cii
I would say for these types of videos it's not that big of a difference, and it will be lighter to travel with
what about the over heating with this camera? Was it ever a issue shooting 4k 24 or 4k 60?
I never had any issues with it. Both 24 and 60.

@@ChillStudyDate the main reason I didn’t get that one is because it only takes 12mp photos while this one takes 33mp. And I use it as a photo first camera! If you were to use it for vlogging mainly then I’d definitely recommend the zve1
Would you be able to do the same quality on a6700?
I’m sure you can. I did a few commercials with my a6600 and they looked great. Focus on the exposure and settings of the camera.

So much noise in the footage
thats not a noise. i believe thats a film grain texture he add in post editing to give more vintage film look
