Hey y’all! If you enjoyed the video and want to know more about how I filmed it, the gear used… etc. I got a video here explaining what I learned during this trip! th-cam.com/video/BXXuBYXTDTE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=8z1FYsnqr0YoPPNn
There was this annoying trend a while back of "cinematic" on TH-cam and it was literally just shooting in 4k at 120FPS, slapping some premade LUT on it and calling it cinematic. Every shot in here looks 100x better than any of those tutorials and videos just by following good foundations of framing, composition, colors,
The thumbnail caught my attention and I'm glad it did. The film itself might be even better than the eyecatching thumbnail. Pure, simple, calm. This is a masterpiece!!!
Beautiful video. Was in Japan last year and it lived up to every expecation I had as a teenager and more. Truly a beautiful country. I had so many moments of just pure excitement simply walking down a side walk.
Beautiful frames. I am surprised I didn't find your channel earlier. Static frames area hard to get and thus beautiful, always a fan of static framing.
Beautiful. I can almost smell and feel the air. I left Japan at 18 and never looked back. I have a good life abroad but I miss my parents and friends. When I see videos like this it triggers memories from a simpler time in life and I wonder what it would be like to give all of it up.
The camera angles, the music, the sounds of the atmosphere all put together all put together so beautifully! Love the video. YOU'RE SO UNDERRATED THO!!
i have watched a lot of your videos, i cant understand how you arent at 1 mil subs already. really nice voice, insane videography and filmmaking... you are the first person i activated the notificationbell for.
this is so beautiful. I think you caught it all. Loud, quiet, stillness, motion, warmth, cool, wood, stone, little, big, surrounded, alone, far away, close, under, over, day, night, dusk, sunset, sunrise, and even scenes where the sunlight is not shown- like the dense urban environment of train stations. You did a wonderful job capturing it all. I wonder, (if you're willing to answer) do you feel like you captured all of japan? were there moments in your trip that you weren't able to show or describe with this footage? Just curious. Great job once again :)
Thank you! I definitely have a lot more of Japan to visit, I mostly visited the touristy places. I’m sure there’s a lot more of Japan to discover let alone different seasons to capture! I’d say weather definitely impacted a lot of the shots as well. Many days were overcast and the overall image was flat and didn’t end up making the cut. I’m hoping to go back at some point!
such a beautiful video, with some amazing shots 😮💨really looking forward to visit japan 2025 and see the land of the morning sun in all its beauty 🇯🇵🫰🏻

no gimbal, no transition bro this is so pure and beautiful!
Tripod more “pure” than gimbal? lol
I'm such a sucker for a static shot and letting the movement exist in the frame itself. Wonderfully captured and presented my friend
