jennie had performed a whole song with her shirt falling apart before the video shown, but then was instructed to go off stage to fix it. after she got it finished she went straight back to performing :) -- her shirt has split/unzipped so obviously she did the right thing by going off stage
For Jennie you have to understand in Korean culture any skin showing especially in the chest area for girls it's really bad and frowned upon so it was much better for her to leave and get her costume fixed then it was for her to try and continue holding it the whole time and risk it slipping open which would have caused a major scandal for the entire group
exactly, wanna slap this comment to those who were saying negative comments towards jennie they didn't know how knetz will react abt jennie's wardrobe malfunction. Sorry for my grammars
@@chichi8882 aren't most comments suggesting it would have been better for her to quickly go off stage to get it fixed rather than standing there dazed doing whatever? They're not giving her shit for her wardrobe malfunctioning but rather her slow response to getting it sorted.
Even tho that Jennie's video shouldn't be on this compilation I just wanted to say that her chest being exposed would affect her more than lipsyncing or not dancing perfectly. Knets and haters would attack her like crazy also her sanity is not in the best condition and after that I don't want to know what could happen (sorry for any mistakes, English is not my first language)
i think jennie should've just left the stage right away instead of making everyone distracted and just standing there not knowing what to do. but she later solved it and that's what mattered
@ so basically straight up going off the stage and coming back fixing her problem isn't professional? why the fuck are so protective? i literally love blackpink and sharing my opinion and you come at me like this? "that's why they got to be professional in some circumstances" bro she would've looked more professional if she just walked out and came back up right away stop trying to defend blackpink at every single thing people says about them that including us sharing our opinions and you taking it as us hating on her
Oyuka Zb Please, this has nothing to do with blackpink or jennie whether a good or a bad thing. I know you have nothing against her. But what I am talking about is just an important yet confirmed fact that you’re missing... Let me get it for you: Kpop industry is one of the most frightening and disturbing industries out there, idols literally sign slave contracts, go through racism and deal with double standards (female idols as seen) and so much more. They are under a serious pressures because they *will* get into a lot of punishments and troubles for just messing up in any situation! Crazy right? If some idols literally *faint and get injured on stage!* What would make her *”leave”* for just a clothing malfunction? Obviously, because she’s told not to especially when it’s right in the middle of a live performance. That’s why she handled it real great.
There's also this one moment Rosé rip her top but she continues the dance smoothly... Even JYP the boss of twice entertainment compliment her about her professionalism on stage.
Yeah I was there it was their show in Chicago and at the end she played it off cool and even made a joke about it but you could tell she really wasn’t having it
yes but then she should have either immediately left the stage or hold it and keep performing normally. Her just standing around like that looking confused is probably the worst thing she can do. As a dancer and performer myself watching this made me really uncomfortable. I don't know what about her actions here are supposed to be professional.
@@K0108-x8y The fact that she sang her part before she left the stage is the most unprofessional thing? I am sorry what? Lmao. Give me a break. Singing is called performing. lol. Yes Rosé is a pro.. When the first vid of rosé when her in ear and mic drop unfortunately her back upper outfit also being ripped off but she still finished it
Jennie did the right thing...She would have been eaten alive by haters back at home...today there was a suicide and death of a kpop idol whose boyfriend left a revenge porn tape and ruined her she tried to suicide once during may and guess what K-Netz did instead of defending her they called her names...majority of K-Netz are mean ..so Jennie did the right thing when she was going through alot of hate...she had panic attacks many times....you can find it everywhere on the internet...But yea in the end that clip shouldnt have been included in this list.
I think with jennie it was explained badly. . .she didn't want to lip sync and she had to leave the stage since her chest was bare underneath the shirt she was wearing. Idk i just think it was taken out of context a little. Anyways thanks for the new video!!
I feel so bad for Jennie, she's truly an amazing person, idk why they give idols clothes like these, like put something that they're comfortable in, imagine how embarrassed she would've been in that moment, she tried staying as long as she could holding her top and that shows how she wanted to perform but couldn't due to the malfunction.. Love her
I mean for guys is not as bad for the wardrobe malfunctions to happen unless is like there pants but for the girls they have to worry about everything that’s why it was good for Jennie to leave or stop moving so much before it would get worse. It’s still very embarrassing for both though. Like how he said for BTS about a shoe, it’s still in embarrassing don’t get me wrong but a shoe and a female part is not the same thing.
I've honestly noticed that Jennie let's stuff like that get to her alot, even when she mixed up the Japanese lyrics once, she just completely stopped instead of trying to mask it.
The clip of Jennie definitely should not have been included in the compilation of Blackpink's most "professional" moments. LOL. Jennie was trying to find the best time for her to walk off stage to fix her wardrobe. She didn't want to leave when it would be her part to sing as that would leave the other members even more flustered. although I agree she could have handled the situation a little more discreetly. But it was all good. Once her top was fixed she came back strong for the rest of the performance. and she also apologized to the crowd right after the song and begged everyone to delete the pics of her holding her chest. lol. And they actually do sing live during their concert and you can hear their voices clearly. If you watch the full performance of the same clip you saw, you can hear that they are a little off key at some parts: th-cam.com/video/UoBzjhBbqwU/w-d-xo.html . and anyone who attends their concert can attest to the fact that they sing live.
No, this was probably the worst thing she could have done, she should have either immediately left or hold it and continue dancing. Standing around like that confusing both the members and the audience is the most unprofessional thing I've seen in Kpop. And that is no hate to Jennie at all.
@@K0108-x8y she actually did continue dancing through 2 songs before finally leaving the stage during DKWTD. I'm sure she was really upset that it happened and was at a lost on what to do. @@Evute02 read it again. I said 'it's the most unprofessional thing I'VE SEEN' in Kpop' Just from what I'VE SEEN. I never said it was the most unprofessional thing in Kpop ever.
As a performer myself, what Jennie did is in fact unprofessional. Her fans need to understand this and own it up, this isn't hate but a genuine criticism. If you are a performer on stage and have a malfunction that you need to fix off-stage, you immediately leave the stage right away instead wandering around looking lost, distracting the other performer and messing the flow of stage up. Jennie could handle that better and there is always a room for improvement.
Yeah i totally agree but what i noticed was that jennie kept looking backstage and she could’ve been looking and singling a staff member with her eyes and the staff member could’ve also told her to stay on stage but idk
jisoo turtle rabbit kim but it should't take that long to decide if she can or can't stay on the stage and her mistakes are unprofessional indeed, wandering around instead making effort not to make mistake, she could handle that better without distracting other members
jisoo turtle rabbit kim but if the staff really told her to stay on the stage when there was a malfunction happening, that's ridiculous for me :\ the staff shouldn't make the choice for the performer to stay on stage or not, the choice should be in Jennie's hand, I thought Jennie was just confused on what to do but even when the staff tells her to stay, she could just try to not make mistake or immediately come down the stage and explain the situation to the staff to prevent any misunderstanding
Dea There’s really no need in repeating yourself i already said i agreed with what you said i was just giving my guesses on what it looked like she was doing like i love jennie but yes indeed it was unprofessional
Dea yeah totally, i feel like a staff member was telling her to stay on stage since yg artists are known to just keep the show going half the time but idk jennie and bp overall they’re in a company that isn’t really good at giving directions and advice to their idols so i just hope that they’d let them be more independent and make their own choices
Yuki kora of course they're not the same thing.Jennie made the right choice by getting off the stage, what was unprofessional though was how long it took her to leave the stage and during the time she was still on she was kinda just wandering around and looking lost.
Semi Adeyemi sure but the problem is that while she was on the stage she wasn't even attempting to do the choreo, ofcourse she couldn't do the hand movements but she could still atleast get into the correct positions. Instead she unfortunately kinda walked around for a while.
Semi Adeyemi yeah but she should’ve left immediately but the other members kept performing even though there was confusion and it’s not hate it’s constructive criticism
to be honest i know rosé is really professional but her only problem is not that serious but for jennie her problem must be really hard bcoz in korea if you got your chest exposed your career will end right away they'll going to bash you send you death threats and some things so i think she did really good but i love all of them tho
lol they did not put those clips of lisa yeeting her accessories out of the way. that always gets me. MY jichu is the cutest😢. Rosé more like professionalsé. Jennie is my queen and was having a bad day THE MAIN THING IS SHE LEARNED FROM IT. EVERYONE DESERVES TO IMPROVE. love my queens
I completely agree with you, what jennie did was incredibly unprofessional, she should've left the stage right away instead of wandering around the stage, not dancing and distracting the other members like what the heck ? And omg you fanboying so hard bc of Rose is such a mood haha
You don't know the whole thing go check above comment she wasn't wandering but signalling the staff. There was miscommunication so when the staff understood she finally left.
In Jennie’s case, i think she was being professional. I think its important to realise that literally her CHEST would’ve been exposed if she had continued to perform. She left for a few seconds to fix it up and came right back onto the stage. It’s more of an emergency than a professional act. Plus, i doubt that most fans would be distracted as they did see her holding her hand to her shirt and would realise what is going on.
@Uh UhHuh Hi! I disagree, unfortunately. She, yes, had to fix her shirt or else awful things would have happened, but the way she handled it was the part that was... not really unprofessional, but like, wrong... i guess. She should not have just stood around there, distracting both the audience, and the members. She should have gone directly off the stage. Or at least, go to her positions, OR play it off. I love Jennie, but this was not one of her BEST moments. Stay hydrated! 😁
Boba Mochi Technically she did Kill This Love right before DKWTD with this same issue. I understand she could’ve gone off sooner, but when things such as this happen for the very first time (she’s never had an a extreme wardrobe malfunction until this), it’s kind of hard to be 100% perfect in handling the situation. I think we need to be in her shoes before judging her, and also give her respect for at least dancing a whole piece of choreo right before this. She wasn’t amazing at handling it, but she was somewhat professional and not completely unprofessional.
@Uh UhHuh And that is exactly what I am saying. Even though she didn’t handle it the best way, she still tried, and that is all that matters. Some people in other comments just can’t agree with me :/
Boba Mochi Yeah, i just think people are being too harsh on her for this. There’s so much she’s yet to learn, so many experiences is the industry to go through. I’m sure she’ll see better days, and tbh, this situation is nothing compared to what other celebrities have done. It was just a hard situation for her, I’m sure she meant no harm.😏
that was on the chicago show where jennies shirt was coming off and i remember i didn’t even know that was happening i was so into the show until my friend was like “hey what’s wrong with jennie why is she acting weird” and then she said “oh her shirt is opening” and then seconds later jennie leaves the stage but in all honesty i didn’t even realize 🤣🖤💖but it was a great show everyone must see blackpink live the pink ocean and vibes are too good 🖤💖
He didn't judged. But, keep standing and hesitated would make the performance a little bit mess. She should thinks fast and don't try to repair anymore if she cannot do that.
@Butterfly Power I kinda feel that the censors should exist for males as well. Otherwise s it just comes off as sexist, no one should expose their chests
It may be the right for you but it is NOT Professional. A lot of female artists were having malfunctions but nobody just ignored the performance and leaves the stage. Momo from twice had her tiny shirt complete untied and she still performed perfectly with 1 hand and in Jennie's way she can totally do that.
"this is wood now" loving your humor and positive mind so much Justin!!! Looking forward to each of your videos! Thank you for giving us so much of your time!
there is also video when jennie ripped-off her stockings because it got lodged, she did it smoothly. (Ddu-Ddu stage performance) there is also a time when she changed the choreohraphy to cover jisoo's legs.hihi
It's funny to see how most say Jennie is unprofessional, she was looking for staff before leaving the stage and left as soon as she found. she came back and did her best, even when she wasn't well, she stayed until she couldn't do it anymore.
Bp is a whole package as an idol . They do lipsync and when they actually sing , your ears are gonna bleed . They have 0 energy on the stage , etc. Rose might be the only professional member .THEY TRUELY ARE SOMETHING ELSE
Jennie didn’t want to lip sync, she was told to do it bc she wanted to get off stage to fix her top. If she would have gotten her chest exposed she would have been eaten alive by haters, Jennie is already the most hated member of the group and this would have been an opportunity to hate on her. I disagree with you bc it’s their call to if it’s better to get off stage or continue with it. Jennie couldn’t fix her top on her own and she knew it’s better for to get off stage for a few seconds and get it fix than lip syncing and there being a chance you chest could be exposed. So in my opinion Jennie reacted professionally.
Ebony71 yeah but she was told to continue, and it was obvious that she couldn’t do a lot of the dance moves without the risk of her chest being exposed. Yes she probably should have acted more quickly but she would have also gone against what the staff had told her to do.
I don't think you understand what being a professional performer means. You continue dancing and performing no matter what, and if it's such a bad thing like chest getting exposed or smth, then she should have left immediately and not stand there confusing and distracting everyone
strange& sleepless 1. It was clear that she couldn’t do the choreo without he chest being exposed which is why she was just standing there 2. I already said she was told to continue and lip sync so she didn’t have to get off stage 3. She clearly could have gotten in much trouble if she went against what she was told 3. If she would have continued to be on stage not only could she have flashed the audience but bc she couldn’t do the choreo she would have gotten so much hate as to why she wasn’t doing the choreo properly. 4. Bc of you I just realized that Jennie can’t satisfy everyone or ever win. She acted professionally, it was her call and she decided what was best fit for the situation.
@@mirielvi How do you know she was told to continue lip syncing and how would lip syncing even make anything better? Her shirt would still be loose. Wether she was lip syncing or not doesn't really matter in this situation. What I am criticizing is her standing around and looking to the staff asking what to do. She could have at least went to her position but she kept standing around and walking around. It was confusing the members as well as the audience. Nothing about that is professional. If you feel like you cannot continue performing then you should leave immediately, even if they signal you to stay or else the performance will be a mess. Momo from Twice has also once had a wardrobe malfunction where the straps from her top came off and she could have also flashed everyone but she held it and kept performing and dancing, doing her best and fixed it after the performance. I am not trying to be mean or anything but as a dancer and performer myself, I know that I would get scolded so badly from my dance teacher if I would do what she did
4:20. What Jennie did is actually very professional. She could've walked off the stage and said that she won't perform anymore but instead she covered her chest and make sure that nothing else was exposed. If I were her I'd defo do the same. Sorry but exposing that she's been lipsncing during that performance is the professional part because she was protecting herself. She could've also just left it and have so much gossip about her going around from news label to another and she probably would've not been able to perform for quite a while too
Most of the times idols have have one of their staff members (mostly managers) watching their performance in front of them (when it's awards shows or festivals), so they can check if there is any problems with their performance so most of the time they're making sign to their managers and the manager will be telling the staff. That's why even though it is very subtle, the hand signs work
I think you sounded rude when when you pointed out jennie’s wardrobe malfunction without knowing korea’s culture so to educate you, korea isnt that conservative when it comes to skirt and shorts but they give more importance to the chest area so you’ll notice idols wearing short skirts but longsleeves tops. If jennie just let her self exposed knetz would attack her immediately and her career would be ruined and it would also affect their group. She did the right thing but just acted a lil bit late.
Idols don't lip sync they have back track the staffs can do louder or quieter because it's hard to sing and dance, that's why most kpop fans hate because they don't know that a back track exist. BLACKPINK back track always is loud you can clearly hear it on their Japan debut boombayah + you can hear the back track and their real voices.
i'm not with you on that jennie one she was clearly very worried because she wasn't wearing anything underneath and if she danced she could have been exposed which would put a lot of hate onto her and i think it was for the best that she went off the stage to fix it and then continue
It was unprofessional just to walk around to each position if she had a wardrobe malfunction that cant be handle on stage walk out immediately mostly when the dance formations are always windowed and have a lot of sitting
It was unprofessional for her to just stand there and not do anything, she could've just followed the positions and stuff, instead of just wandering around and looking lost
To the ppl in the comment Jennie was actually very professional. By what my friend that was at the concert and a lot on twitter said her jacket/top opened in the song before and she performed it completely like a pro (they're no video bc she asked the fan to not post it), then the other song that is in the vid of this compilation came and she asked the staff to go backstage but the staff was blocking her then saying her to come then saying her to rest on the stage. The fan that was on the side say they keep on seeing the staff throwing sign and then stop sign. So the person that wasn’t pro here was the staff. This is why they was confused and keep looking backstage and at Jennie.
it’s not because there is a backtrack that they are not singing, the backstrack is here because idols are dancing so they need it, so yeah sometimes it’s pretty loud but it doesn’t mean theyre lypsincing
@@r-recordbreaker947 the thing is that if jennie continue performing her chest would be exposed and her career would be ended, in Korea the people wouldn't forgive her.
The difference is she took too long to fix the problem and he’s giving constructive criticism it’s not hate it’s just that Jennie could’ve handled it better by running off stage instead of panicking and it ok everyone has a situation where they panic and she probably knows how to handle it next time
Some fans said Jennie did the right but I'm agree with you that it is NOT Professional at all. A lot of female artists were having malfunctions but nobody totally ignores the performance and leaves the stage. And also she performad during ktl and dkwtd with that wardrobe malfunction and only show the clip from dkwtd. Like show also the ktl performance she was holding her top for More then 5 minutes. And imagine jennie just let it be like that and got exposed. The amount of hate would be huge.

9:04 Baby Rosé told the fans to song with them ❤️❤️✨
jennie had performed a whole song with her shirt falling apart before the video shown, but then was instructed to go off stage to fix it. after she got it finished she went straight back to performing :)
-- her shirt has split/unzipped so obviously she did the right thing by going off stage

Same dude, same❤️
Even tho that Jennie's video shouldn't be on this compilation I just wanted to say that her chest being exposed would affect her more than lipsyncing or not dancing perfectly.
Oyuka Zb you don’t know what was going through her mind she probably panicked cause like her shirt popped in two infront of thousands of people
@ so basically straight up going off the stage and coming back fixing her problem isn't professional? why the fuck are so protective? i literally love blackpink and sharing my opinion and you come at me like this? "that's why they got to be professional in some circumstances" bro she would've looked more professional if she just walked out and came back up right away

Oyuka Zb
Please, this has nothing to do with blackpink or jennie whether a good or a bad thing. I know you have nothing against her. But what I am talking about is just an important yet confirmed fact that you’re missing...
Let me get it for you:
Kpop industry is one of the most frightening and disturbing industries out there, idols literally sign slave contracts, go through racism and deal with double standards (female idols as seen) and so much more.
Even JYP the boss of twice entertainment compliment her about her professionalism on stage.
if jennie exposed her self and danced on it could mean the end of her... netizens would not be pleased.
DarkAngelvalo true
Yeah I was there it was their show in Chicago and at the end she played it off cool and even made a joke about it but you could tell she really wasn’t having it
yes but then she should have either immediately left the stage or hold it and keep performing normally. Her just standing around like that looking confused is probably the worst thing she can do. As a dancer and performer myself watching this made me really uncomfortable. I don't know what about her actions here are supposed to be professional.
strange& sleepless ooh yeah I definitely agree cuz she distracted the other girls and it looked awkward
@@K0108-x8y The fact that she sang her part before she left the stage is the most unprofessional thing? I am sorry what? Lmao. Give me a break. Singing is called performing. lol. actually jennie waiting for the right time, and wait for the "signal" from the staff
About the performance issue in 9:08 you can hear that rose said “ we can keep on singing “
I think with jennie it was explained badly. . .she didn't want to lip sync and she had to leave the stage since her chest was bare underneath the shirt she was wearing. Idk i just think it was taken out of context a little. Anyways thanks for the new video!!
Literary rosé is born to be a world wide famous singer , she is so smooth about giving Hint's to the crew and post cover , she really loves music
*Rosé is indeed a professional
PROFESSIONAL QUEEN ROSÉ❤️
Try to react to all solo songs covered by Rosè.
3:05 its about the other member that not getting distracted by jennie. If i was jennie case i do mess up
I think they meant the other BP girls were pros for continuing when J was utterly lost.
That’s what I thought too because it was distracting

Yuki kora of course they're not the same thing.Jennie made the right choice by getting off the stage, what was unprofessional though was how long it took her to leave the stage and during the time she was still on she was kinda just wandering around and looking lost.

Semi Adeyemi sure but the problem is that while she was on the stage she wasn't even attempting to do the choreo, ofcourse she couldn't do the hand movements but she could still atleast get into the correct positions.

I completely agree with you, what jennie did was incredibly unprofessional, she should've left the stage right away instead of wandering around the stage, not dancing and distracting the other members like what the heck ? And omg you fanboying so hard bc of Rose is such a mood haha
She can't leave because she's the line distributor in that song.
You don't know the whole thing go check above comment she wasn't wandering but signalling the staff. There was miscommunication so when the staff understood she finally left.
But understanding rosè's reaction would also be hard for the staff no one is talking about it.
Rosé is the queen
Wt-
I just saw Rosè did hand signal when you're slow it down.
And.. what can you expect from queens?
9:08 Rosé said lets sing live ❤️❤️
In Jennie’s case, i think she was being professional. I think its important to realise that literally her CHEST would’ve been exposed if she had continued to perform. She left for a few seconds to fix it up and came right back onto the stage. It’s more of an emergency than a professional act. Plus, i doubt that most fans would be distracted as they did see her holding her hand to her shirt and would realise what is going on.
@Uh UhHuh
Hi!
@Uh UhHuh
And that is exactly what I am saying.
It was just a hard situation for her, I’m sure she meant no harm.😏
she did the right thing leaving the stage but she took a long time and looking lost so it dristacted the others member too

He didn't judged. But, keep standing and hesitated would make the performance a little bit mess. She should thinks fast and don't try to repair anymore if she cannot do that.
@Butterfly Power I kinda feel that the censors should exist for males as well. Otherwise s it just comes off as sexist, no one should expose their chests
he didn’t judge her. it’s constructive criticism, it was totally unprofessional and she should’ve hurried backstage.
peachjoon exactly it’s not hate but she hopefully handles that situation better in the future
It may be the right for you but it is NOT Professional. A lot of female artists were having malfunctions but nobody just ignored the performance and leaves the stage. Momo from twice had her tiny shirt complete untied and she still performed perfectly with 1 hand and in Jennie's way she can totally do that.

I think it's more the amount of time she meandered on stage with the issue. Hurry off and comeback quickly.
It was clear that she couldn’t do the choreo without he chest being exposed which is why she was just standing there
2. I already said she was told to continue and lip sync so she didn’t have to get off stage
3. She clearly could have gotten in much trouble if she went against what she was told
I am not trying to be mean or anything but as a dancer and performer myself, I know that I would get scolded so badly from my dance teacher if I would do what she did
Thank you for you reaction
3:59 the guy yelling knew what jennie was thinking
She could've also just left it and have so much gossip about her going around from news label to another and she probably would've not been able to perform for quite a while too
That wasn’t the problem the problem was it took to long for her to leave and it’s ok hopefully she handles those situations better next time
You should react to rosé being Professional on stage
Oh my God I see black pink video songs like million times and I never noticed what Rosie did I can believe in
Jennie wasn't worried about lip-synching but that day she wasn't feeling well
Most of the times idols have have one of their staff members (mostly managers) watching their performance in front of them (when it's awards shows or festivals), so they can check if there is any problems with their performance so most of the time they're making sign to their managers and the manager will be telling the staff.
Rose is amazing
She distracted others which makes it worse
She took too long that’s the problem but hey she probably learned from it
It was unprofessional for her to just stand there and not do anything, she could've just followed the positions and stuff, instead of just wandering around and looking lost
i have actually changed my mind eventually, it was unprofessional. i think she was just shocked. but hey everyone makes mistakes.
I luv ur channel

I'm shook why those people didn't notice this comment 😔
it’s not because there is a backtrack that they are not singing, the backstrack is here because idols are dancing so they need it, so yeah sometimes it’s pretty loud but it doesn’t mean theyre lypsincing
Rose also had that top malfunction
Its different for rosé its audio problem.. for jennie its wardrobe... So dont judge her... Just saying...
Rosé also has wardrobe problem. her mic lapel and her top unbuttone.
But for rose its just a back while jennie is front see the diff.
Momo from Twice had her tiny shirt completely off and she still performed perfectly with 1 hand holding it and in Jennie's way she can definitely do the same
