This guy was a HUGE part of my life in 1985 and for years after. His music was incredibly beautiful for so many reasons. This was my time ! My generation and I would go back anytime to do it all over again .......we had it good back then and I am glad I lived it .....

Just a little more time is all we’re asking for,, well it’s sept 2020 and being a high school graduate of 1984, time is what we fear we don’t have much left of! Somewhere between 45 and 55 we kids of the 80s are falling apart! We’re turning gray and youth is fleeing fast! There’s a few that look great but time waits for no one! Old age and frailty is our destiny! What have I learned along the way? Treat people the way you want to be treated! I have learned that life is hard ,success is a scale of ones achievements by others , yet in reality it’s the small things that mean so much! I also learned that poverty is hard to escape from . Once born in poverty, the system doesn’t seem set up to let you out! But with hard work you will prevail Last and not least the keys to failure are simple! Drugs ,crime and laziness ,are the three keys to a lifetime of heartaches and regret!

I did not know it then, in fact I thought life was boring and " is this all there is ?" .. almost 40 years later.. .I'd give anything to have a life that had so many wonderful events.. a life that boring but,all it took was a FM Radio to transport me out of the Darkness .. and I'd love to have the freedom .. again.. to be bored ..

I farted hard when i tried singing this song in karaoke.
Question is where is the rest of his band?
I honestly had no clue that there was such a thing as the Canadian Music Hall of Fame...and it's been around for like 40 years?! Does Canada have its own sitcoms and drama shows and the like? Serious question. Or is it mostly just American TV that they watch? I know that a lot of stuff is filmed in Vancouver, but it seems that it's almost always supposed to be somewhere in the US. The only two shows I can think of off the top of my head that actually were set in Canada are "Kids in the Hall" (a favorite of mine from the 90's) and "Trailer Park Boys". There's got to be a bunch of others though....right?
Degrassi and Kim's Convenience are pretty popular out here.
@@cbcmusic I guess I have heard of Degrassi (probably because of Drake), but have never watched it...looks sort of like Dawson's Creek if I had to find an American comparison I guess? Can't say I've heard of Kim's Convenience, but maybe I'll give it a look on Netflix...always looking for new shows to watch.
