@@wrath7413 i played a lot of sports and jumped a lot as a kid so that definitely helped out, in terms of lifting i just started with getting my squat and power clean technique good just by going to the gym and doing form work for like five minutes after every workout. started doing reps of 5 on squat and trying to get my numbers up and hopped on a more advanced program later on
train your abductors before squatting, get them real warmed up, open up your legs into them and lean into it, you can go deeper and if u have enough core strength u can pump those numbers up and go lower
What helps is to put your arms inside your knees, then press your elbows out against them. This puts pressure on your hips and helps you keep your back straight. Hold this position, breathe deeply, and feel the stretch in your hips and lower back. "deep squat hold" or "prayer squat" stretch
LOVE THE SHIRT BRO!!!
@@optimistickrishiv843 THANKS BRO
Hey thats me in the back!!!
got a new sub my man!
@@bigdpenta thanks man!
Why not add some front squats in too, it would provide a different stimulus to your legs than a back squat and also has carry over to a power clean
@@emperor_dan love front squats but i cant do every leg exercise in a single day haha, for sure doing them in future cycles
How did you start? I’m the same height as you and I’m also Asian but my vert is like 22.
