Congrats on the forklift, you SO needed 1. You can make all kinds of attachments to mount on the forks to haul, pull, or push vehicles around. When you lift from below you run the risk of damaging the undercarriage. I had a shop in a storage building and they had a piece that mounted on the front for moving around boats on trailers (ball). They also make great mobile frame racks. Press the forks against the frame and use the other end to pull. (you've already done this). They are great for removing truck beds too. Build a frame out of 2 x 4's that slip under the bed rail and up she comes.
Might want to think about burying the power cable from the pole to the building so you don't catch it again or if you have an employee at some point when you get big enough and get your self a waste oil furnace.....old oil, trans fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, diesel, ect on things you have to have records of recycling/disposal is antifreeze and battery acid/ old dead batteries worked in the salvage/parts industry for 20+ years tires absolutely suck but it's part of the game best thing to do is not allow them to pile up I don't know what the cost is per tire now but last I knew was$1.25 per ....... have a covered area to store them so they don't fill with water and we would stack batteries on a pallet and when we got 40-50 we would bring them to the scrap metal place and sell them we were getting $5.00 a battery back then I don't know what it is now.there is money to be made with it... just look at LKQ... and all your buddies that are rebuilding vehicles should be using recycled parts instead of dealership parts..I mean somethings you have to buy new but it's a miniscule amount....oh and maybe get with your local scrap guy and see if they would put a couple 10-15 yard dumpsters in your yard......one for brake rotors and drums that's #1 prepared and one for core engines.... and old radiators knock the plastic tanks off and get them flat and stack them on pallets also.... just some knowledge sharing for you....or you can tell me to go shit in my hat..😂......👍👌
Ben, you could strip the melted parts off the engine check it turns by hand then take heater plugs out, connect the starter motor too a battery pack and do a compression test on the engine, just an idea. I have used burnt motors before and been lucky, and i always do that test before refitting an engine wether its had a rebuild or just replacement and never fails. Just an idea but worth a go to know condition of that engine
Hello Veniamin, lovely work. I enjoy watching you, you're like grandson. The Forklift has Daewoo written all over it. Not Doosan, this was made before Doosan brought Daewoo heavy industries. Should be a solid forklift for many more years. Good, Veniamin.
Drill a hole in one of the forks big enough for a hitch ball and you can move anything that has a trailor hitch. You can also make some fork extensions out of rectangular tubing pretty easy so you dont puncture anything on the bottoms of your cars when you lift them.
Saludos desde 🇵🇷.Yo empecé a ver el canal por el Ford Mustang y todavía sigo esperando la continuación y conclusión del Mustang .No le vi sentido en parar ese proyecto.
Nice job. Any shop that does the heavy work you do, realizes the value of a forklift. IMHO, a forklift in these situations is no different than having a ratchet and sockets for the assembly. It’s necessary.
Yeah I can't wait till you get back on that mustang that thing is going to be a beast especially if you get a whole like text-to-speed and all them people or get it even get a hold of Cletus
Would be cool if you and the Goonzquad crew could go in together and buy a closed down dealership. Would have work area, plenty of room for content, ability to have storage for used parts, and maybe employ someone to handle that, and a showroom for all of your cars for fans to see, and turn either the parts dept or an office into a storefront for your merch. And maybe once a quarter, have a day set aside for a fans meet and great
Forklifts rule …man toys 💪 Ben’s chop shop lol always said there’s so much more money in taking them apart than building um up ..good on you dude you never stop working that’s what it’s all about 👍
He started the mustang 3 years ago... I gave up watching all of his videos. I didn't even recognize him when I clicked on this truck video. He has put on serious weight.
Good for you Ben. What brakes? Brakes are for quitters. LOL Forklifts are a must for a body shop. They life beds off, pull cars and trucks around lift damaged suspension vehicles, and sometimes serve as a portable frame machine.
Nice job guys, fords are easy to tear down.get yourself a dump trailer and as your tearing vehicles down, throw the metal from the vehicles that you remove into the trailer, easier to haul to the scrap yard, and separate the aluminum from it,worth more.great video 😎😎😎👍👍👍
I've driven forklift quite a bit in my life , and that brand of forklift isn't by any means the worst . My favorite forklift was made by Hyster , and strangely enough my least favorite was made by Toyota .
I really don't like burnt cars, even if they're rebuilt. So, the burnt smell never goes out. You should put in there, a very strong car freshener after rebulding.
Im surprised you took it apart, as in pieces it takes up more room, and you could of stripped out the back and cab as parts sold, the engine was the main thing to check out first,
This channel has gone through about 7 mustangs, only two of which were working at the end. I’m not even kidding. He tried to build his own frame for one and cut one in half like 4 years ago and was mocking everyone who said it will never be finished. They destroyed multiple mustangs in the process of that.
Not worth saving the engine, at best water has gotten inside from the intake so it will have rust in the cylinder walls and maybe bottom end also which isn’t right trying to sell it off to someone else, with the amount of heat around the outside just about every bolt on is knackered along with much more so it needs to be scrapped
Super duties catch fire because the plastic fuel filter gets full of debrees that was filtered out the fuel filter cracks. I caught my leak in time because it was seeping at the seems.
Suggestion Don't use load straps for lifting ,get the correct lifting gear or chains and hooks . Hope that you are getting some containers to neatly store the parts and even cars outside otherwise your yard is going to be overrun with mess ,that's something that the audience will always see in the videos . Sams Ferrari ?
even a 2018 is worth rebuilding but since it's for deconstruction only. You had no choice. I would of looked for another tuck and used this one for parts for the other. Could even be a badly rolled over one and this would of made a great parts truck. you should have a good frame. bed and maybe a cab from that truck. maybe the engine if it's not rusting in side from water being sprayed to put out the fire. the cylinders need scoped and the oil needs drained and the oil pan dropped to get all the water out. But if the cylinder walls are pitted it may not be worth doing anything with that engine.
Good idea ben parting vehicles out like that could be a nice business if you going down that ways bro and youd always have parts on hand jf neaded ever to!. 👌👌💪💪👍🏴🏴
That wind noise is wild with that big dead cat on the microphone that you're using. Doesn't seem right, maybe the mic isn't working and just using the camera in-body mic?
i would put the electric cable underground also, someone could have got killed, also it would be a tax right off for the building improvment. also i would paint the forlift white and put reflective tape around the sides just so you can see it in the dark. and a light bar
I'm reminded of the time my Plymouth Horizon/Dodge Omni (don't remember which) that I'd bought the month before from a park 'n sell lot for $800 started smoking from under the hood. I pulled over to the side of the road and turned off the ignition, opened the hood and the influx of fresh air released a fireball that singed my eyebrows a bit. The fire shorted some wires and with nobody in the car (obviously!) the starter engaged and the engine began running. My 16 year old son told me later that when that engine started, all he could think of was "Omigod! It's _Christine!"_
@@slowery43I know, but it's a funny story, very peripherally related (i.e., vehicle fire), and I hoped someone would have enough of a sense of humor to at least smile at it. It appears I was mistaken. My apologies.

Man you got lucky with the power line. Just me more vigilant when moving that heavy equipment
Wouldn’t be a vTuned video without the usual SamCrac paper weight making an appearance.
LOL
Tell me you’ve never had to wait on parts without actually telling us . Go watch more TH-cam
SAMCRAC should have Stepmom in more videos!🥰
Not only the samcrac Paperweight
The V tuned Paperweight as well
@@paulipeteri7938 oh stepmom is in lots of videos alright…
That motor seems pretty far gone, but I love your enthusiasm!!!
Yeah. Buy. A. Whole parts truck 2 door and switch stuff
Rolling chassis worth. 3k
"save the engine" ?! you're a glass half-full kind of guy!!😁

Love the different content from building a car to tearing one down for parts awesome love it
Forklift is clutch! Congrats Ben
Check out a turbo max nozzle that attaches to your pressure washer wand. It delivers a much stronger spray!
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Hi Ben, very interesting content. I'm happy to see the hard-working Jack with you again. Keep it up and good luck with your new business.

Yeah also removes the risk of a strap finding its way off the end way safer when you're jiggling stuff lose.
You need to aquire a set of extra long forks for the doosan. Thanks for the great content! Cheers from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
What Doosan?
Used to work alot on these type of forklifts. It's pronounced Daywoo. Cheers!
Will support you with whatever you post as you are a legend
Yesterday had so many uploads that I almost missed this beauty

Maybe you should make a Jib for the forklift, could be good practice for welding
its a DAEWOO fork lift and yes they are a good fork lift. nice job

Heat-treated frame rails 😊

Funny, always enjoy the video !
Looks like the transmission may be salvageable?
Heat changes the metal properties. Can't reuse any heat damages.
15:25 that rolling chassis would be perfect for someone who bought a copart special with frame damage....
you guys need some shop coveralls with the logo embroidered on the back.
You should get you a couple of those cargo containers so you can put all your body parts in it
I have my doubts about that engine being good, but the transmission should be OK. Good that the frame is still OK for your cousin.
Nice work 👏 👌
great vlogs and content!!
please oh please get you a cat tail for the wind noise

Do you guys have a full steel recycle bin yet?
The mustang got left out to die again.
I mean...didn't we all know that was bound to happen? Had he completed it, it probably would've weighed in at like 4500lbs..lol
Finish that Mustang and I guarantee it's gonna be a looker

V.T. why didn't you rebuild the F-150 cuz w/ front end work. You difntly had it.
Hey Ben what is this black BMW M2, is it a parts car?
Definitely a lot of money in trucks. It's just hard to say how much of that engine is salvageable. But you guys know what you're doing 100%
Good for you Ben. What brakes? Brakes are for quitters. LOL Forklifts are a must for a body shop. They life beds off, pull cars and trucks around lift damaged suspension vehicles, and sometimes serve as a portable frame machine.
Worst comes to worst, that engine could be sold as a core...and that's still good money on those.
V you should start looking for a empty property to start building V tuned huge warehouse/shop. good to see Jacob coming around
bruhhh you should keep one of the burnt panels like patina. Adam LZ did that with his mustang it looks pretty cool!
Why not a trac skid steer- better traction and versatile (interchangeable attachments
Vtune.. the transmission on the new is about 8 k . Used one 2000 is a steal for the person buying it

I thought you might of looked for a late one to repair, as that gives you a lot of parts,
Lot good parts on that truck.
Poor Mustang rotting outside.
It's just doing Mustang things.
I was just thinking the same thing
Get a container. For. It@@MrWoodyBalto

V-tune over in England we call the forklift or its pronounced day-hoo or day-whoo
