As an Aussie, I was so suprised to find out that fairy bread didnt really exist. You literally cannot have a child's bday party if theres no fairy bread being served, its delicous and way easy too make, so that even the kids can help make it.

EDIT: I should have expected you to eat the mouldy bread after seeing you eat ants on stream 😭 Viewers, don't eat mouldy food! By the time you can see the mould it has permeated throughout the food! And it's really hard to tell whether it's a safe or *extremely* dangerous variety of mould.

I have never related so much to someone defending eating moldy bread. True and relatable. Pick the mold off and you’re good to go.

Just Googled it and nah. The microscopic roots of the mold can easily spread through the bread. If the rest of the loaf is good, you can get away with throwing away the mold slice and the slice next to it. Cheese, however, is different since the roots can’t easily penetrate cheese and you can get away with cutting off the mold and eating the rest.

You can't see all the mold, though. It goes through the inside of the bread, so just picking it off would involve digging through and somehow finding all of the mold that has grown through it.
You most likely won't die from eating it (I've done it before without noticing), but it's not healthy and you're not avoiding the mold by just picking off the bits you can see.
