  • Cancer Rehab, or Rehabilitation, is under-utilized. What exactly does an oncology or cancer physical therapist do? Who should see one and what types of symptoms do they address? In this video, I explain what things are addressed in cancer rehab and what we do as physical therapists. If you are a student or a physio, this video will also give you a better understanding of what an Oncology Physical Therapist or physiotherapist does each day.

Thank you. It has been almost 4 years since I had lymph nodes removed during a radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer. I only received a 2 page pamphlet. I think I’m going to find your channel extremely helpful.

Thank you for all the great and informative videos! Regarding dry brushing, is there anything different to do for the chest and neck due to having a port?

Hi! I have shoulder pain in my right that initiated with a pull from my dog on a walk. It resolved, but came back with my Covid shots and 6 months later is still here. I cannot get any shots on my left side due to high risk of lymphedema. Unfortunately there is long a wait for PT at my local clinic. Can you recommend any exercises I can try between now and then? What do patients do who have risk of lymphedema on both sides?

What are your recommendations for studying for the oncology specialist board exam? Or how did you prepare for this exam? Thanks -Julie
