Nice! Being able to stand up & have that pivoting head is a big help when you dont have the 3rd hand to hold a light :) Congrats Silverado79! Now you are one step closer to getting your new tool setup for next year that you were talking about :)
Congrats silveradol. I really want that light, it's great when they show a picture of flashlight when selling it, but it's even better to have live demo. You know what your getting.
I'll be getting this ASAP. Live the 20v grip they keep putting on their tools! Well done dewalt! You guys are hitting it out of the park like Dave Kingman!!!
When Dan brought out the black Defiant flashlight and put it to the side i thought he was going to talk about it at the end. I just found out about Defiant flashlights this week when a alarm technician left it in my house by mistake after installing our alarm system. DEFIANT LED FLASHLIGHTS ARE JUST AS BRIGHT AS THOSE 200-300 DOLLAR FLASHLIGHTS! I couldn't believe how bright the small defiant was that the technician left by mistake. I went yesterday and the huge Defiant with 600! Lumens at Home Depot was 30 bucks. I immediately bought it because I saw how great quality their small one was. THIS IS THE BEST FLASHLIGHT EVER! Its soooo bright and the beam is greatly focused. I couldn't believe it. I'm a flashlight guy and was considering buying a good $100 buck big flashlight because I needed one and this just saved me a lot of money. I'm a Defiant fan now hopefully Dan can make a review on it too if not I'm going to because these flashlights by defiant are so damn good and the price is a steal!
I've already bought one from tool nut when you 2 mentioned it a few months back and love it speacil when working under hood of my car or under crawl spaces plus you can hang it from tree lumbs to keep working around the yard still waiting around for the other one that is coming to show up with 2500 lumens.
Finally a better 20v light! I'm not much of a fan of Dewalt's first 20v light but this light is perfect and it looks twice as bright. It's on the buy list now! Great video! Thanks guys!
I like it. I wish it had a locking head though. They should also put magnets on the light too so if there's nothing to hand or set it on you can stick it to something. The magnets would have to be pretty strong though to hold up the light and a 5.0 battery.
Congrats Silverado79 and thanks to the Toolnut for all of the Veto cargo totes!! I will say Dewalt has better pricing on their new lights than Milwaukee. Milwaukee needs to drop the prices on their lights about 20-30 dollars. At that price I would buy some.
This light looks great. I'm gonna have to get this one to. I just bought the other 20v light like 3 weeks ago. Oh we'll guess you can never have enough work lights. And you can never have enough dewalt tools. Great review guys keep up the awesome videos.
It's nice. But I wish there was a high and low settings so that you can use it to read books or typing on a keyboard, it has the functionality for it. But I'm still getting it because I own the 18v florescent version of this and I've had it for years, I depend on that light everyday and the Dewalt dc020 and dc022, all 3 lights was worth every penny. When Dewalt comes out with the dc020 and dc022 20v version. I'm definitely getting a pair.
That's bright. I really like the clip how it Rotates. My m18 milwaukee I upgraded to a led bulb for 20$ and is bright but it would be nice to have the dewalt clip
Very nice light. Would like to see a tool fight between the DeWalt 20v and the Milwaukee 18v. I have a feeling the pivoting point on the DeWalt would be the weakest link. After all, we tend to be rough on our tools and they will at some point fall off of a ladder or some other elevated area. Is the clear lens replaceable like that of the Milwaukee?
Really nice led amazing how far advanced things are getting in a short time....you got them rc's off the wall you got that itch back in your system for bashing?
Congrats Silverado79. How does this light compare to the Milwaukee lights? Nice review. I need to get a small battery light for working under a car or when it starts getting dark outside.
Man. The new dewalt 3 led lights is awesome. Super bright. I really want one. ( I think the 3 to 16hrs runtime is for the different brightness settings.) Wonder how is the other new floor light dewalt came out with. Great review guys.... Thanks
Hey guys! Loving the lights. Question: Have either of you heard about a Milwaukee 18v portable fan in the works? I know ryobi has one the can either run off their 18v or electricity. I figured if there is one in the works, you guys are the ones to turn to. Thanks!
Awesome light. Looks bright as hell. Is it like the cree led lights. Like on-die technology. Sorry if I am saying that wrong..... Great video as always.
I really like the Makita LXLM03 LED flash light. I think it's the most versatile one out there. Sad, cuz I'm currently invested in Milwaukee and feel their flashlight options are way overpriced for what they are.
I own the other dewalt 20v led light and the brightness on it is amazing I actually have to point it away from the object I want lit cuz it's so bright
very nice compared to their previous DCL040 which was nice but the dam sharp beam ends up blinding me for the first 10 secs. you can shot a beam to venus with that thing.
lol..packaging looks cool but it's always a bitch to get into..never mind cutting yourself with the knife i've cut myself on the packaging a couple of times!! Great light....bright little sucker and good review guys!
Dudes I have a lot of respect about this channel but this review is very poor!! You don't say anything about the price.... you don't say anything where it could be found, what store etc... can you buy it as a kit with battery and charger? or just the flashlight?@Tools In Action
We don't do reviews. We are just showing it off to you. It s roughly $70 depending on where you get it. And it should be sold anywhere DeWALT tools are sold. The package had no battery or charger in it.
Typical macho Bubba-type review! Did you inspect it, and discuss features? No! You flipped the swivel back and forth like a destructive child with a new toy, and this will damage that feature. 'Cool, man, cool!' was your version of a review? Tell us why its good or not good, pros and cons, this is a REVIEW, not a ball you toss around. What you left out; Does swivel head stay up and will this become loose later? The hanging hook - discuss options to extend, hang, etc What battery types does it accept - all the 20V Lithium batteries by DeWalt, or limited? Can the bulbs be changed easily? What is the weight? What uses does this have? Why is this better or worse, or how is it different from the 20V Flashlight by DeWalt? What quality of light - daylight, neon glare, yellow bulb type? Is it too bright for close up work? Can you focus light into a brighter point, or just overall illumination? Price! Price!! Price??? Conclusion: Horrible review with two annoying and incoherent Bubbas!
Lass-in Angeles Sorry sir, Here I answered your questions just for you I nly wish I could have hyperlinked everything to Wikipedia so you could get the scope of the light: Does swivel head stay up and will this become loose later? - Yes and no it doesn't come loose. The hanging hook - discuss options to extend, hang, etc - You can extend and hand the light. What battery types does it accept - all the 20V Lithium batteries by DeWalt, or limited? - This is as 20V DeWALT light it says it right in the title. Its safe to say only DeWALT Batteries. Admit it this was a dumb ass question. Think about it. its the damn title!!! Can the bulbs be changed easily? - ON DIE LED NO What is the weight? - You are strong enough to hold it with hand What uses does this have? - Well the sun sets and there is this thing called night, the human pupil can only let in so much light. Even when it's dilated. First humans invented fire to light up areas. Then in 1898 the flashlight was invented. Basically this devices allows you to illuminate an area. Why is this better or worse, or how is it different from the 20V Flashlight by DeWalt? - Dewalt has a few flashlights can you be more specific? Model number? Do you know exaclty what plant it was made? Was it cloudy when they made it? What quality of light - daylight, neon glare, yellow bulb type? - I turned it on and saw Jesus Is it too bright for close up work? - It could turn you into Cyclops from the X-men if not used properly Can you focus light into a brighter point, or just overall illumination? Overall illumination Price! Price!! Price??? Google Google Google Thanks, Bubba

lol ops!

I really like the light this one puts out. Seems bright but at the same time casts a wide area. Congrats Silverado!
Finally a better 20v light! I'm not much of a fan of Dewalt's first 20v light but this light is perfect and it looks twice as bright. It's on the buy list now! Great video! Thanks guys!
Very nice light, 5ah battery will last forever, Perfect for an inside the home project
I like the trigger switch. The base/handle looks like the rest of the Dewalt drills.
Thats a great light! If I didn't already have a bunch of lights I would totally get one of these. Perfect for hanging from a car hood
I like it. I wish it had a locking head though. They should also put magnets on the light too so if there's nothing to hand or set it on you can stick it to something. The magnets would have to be pretty strong though to hold up the light and a 5.0 battery.

Very nice I've been waiting for something to replace my old 18v fluorescent.

Looks like a great 20v addition.
Really nice led amazing how far advanced things are getting in a short time....you got them rc's off the wall you got that itch back in your system for bashing?
Handy looking light. Congrats silverado.

Congrats Silverado79. How does this light compare to the Milwaukee lights? Nice review. I need to get a small battery light for working under a car or when it starts getting dark outside.

Haven't heard anything but I am sure it is in the works. I like the ryobi fan.
Very cool light. I will be getting one of those. Nice reviews guys.
Man, that looks awesome.
Do you think the ratcheting head will get weak quickly? Kinda wish it had a hand screw to lock if in place
Nah, it seems ok. So far so good
Awesome light. Looks bright as hell. Is it like the cree led lights. Like on-die technology. Sorry if I am saying that wrong..... Great video as always.
I can see a Dewalt vs Milwaukee drop test coming along..If it's yellow and says Dewalt it's got to be on the list of things to buy..
I really like the Makita LXLM03 LED flash light. I think it's the most versatile one out there. Sad, cuz I'm currently invested in Milwaukee and feel their flashlight options are way overpriced for what they are.
I really like that light. I love dewalt so that's would be adding to my collection. This thing looks really bright to
Gj Silverado. That light seems to be twice as bright as the m12 light stick.
I own the other dewalt 20v led light and the brightness on it is amazing I actually have to point it away from the object I want lit cuz it's so bright

*When will you be selling TIA stickers :D*
Soon :}
I like it.
Oh man! A pivoting head and a hook. This is too much. I'm getting one. No more asking jittery/shaky people to hold the flashlight!
I see Milwaukee has a 12v LED work light 49-24-0145
Wonder if any good $40 @ homedepot
Im pretty sure we reviewed it

crappy review, you guys should learn from beauty bloggers how to present the product.

Tools In Action Excellent comeback!
Hey
