Q 11: I don't agree. Greenland is not Denmark, and of the countries mentioned, Estonia is the most northern.
My thoughts exactly. It's like saying that Great Britain is the southernmost country "because the Falklands are part of GB". The islands are a Crown Dependency, a territory governed by Britain.

Stephen Phillip true, if it mentioned Greenland I would have gotten it right. I did get the highest country thinking it was Nepal because of the Himalayas and I thought Chad was farther south of the Sharan

Exactly. I caught that right away. : I'm 69 years old. I graduated high school in 1970. When I was in elementary school; maybe high school, our band director was from Estonia. I live in Graceville, Florida, a little town in northwest Florida; in the northern most corner of Jackson County, just three miles south of the Florida/Alabama State Line.
this was good. You stumped me on 5 questions, but I think including Greenland as part of Denmark was obscure (and not fair). Estonia is further north.
Brazil is the largest city on the South American continent? You might want to correct that.

Great quiz and I learned a bit. Could do without the constant reminders to subscribe, though. Enough already!
To start with, the answer on No. 5 states that Brazil is the largest CITY on the continent. Try largest country as asked in the question. Next: Yellowstone park is part of all three States, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.
I noticed both too, came in to point it out took me all these reply’s and nobody said anything till I got to this one!
And it's capitol, not capital.
Quiz Beez : Greenland, technically is just a territory of Denmark and not a sovereign country. If you look at an atlas, Estonia is farther north than Denmark.
Greenland is a part of Denmark
Doesn't matter who Greenland belongs to, it still officially is not a country.
@@stevewilliams3850 I'm super late on this... but Greenland is an autonomous territory of its sovereign state, the Kingdom of Denmark. Even more specifically, its status as an autonomous territory of the KoD is that of a constituent country, alongside the Faroe Islands and regular old Denmark. TLDR; it's a territory, it's also a country, but it's not a sovereign state. (the terms "country" and "sovereign state" are mutually inclusive... they can be the same thing, and often they are, but sometimes they can also be separate).
I agree with the question in the video being wrong, though. It just said "which country," and it only said Denmark. If the question choice said KoD or Danish Realm I would have given it a little bit of leeway in regards to its wording and answered it with either one of those terms for the northernmost "country." But it just said "country," and it just said "Denmark," so it's wrong. Once again, regular old Denmark is just a constituent country of the KoD, and the KoD is not a country, it's just a sovereign state.

Q.11 is deceiving. Yes Greenland is just a territory belonging to Denmark. You stated Canada is the northernmost but that was not an option in the answers, therefore the real answer is Estonia. 17/20 for me.

I'm sorry, but Canada doesn't share "borders" with any ocean. It does, however, have "shorelines" on the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic oceans.

Quiz Beez I find the timing drags because I either know the answer or can figure it out quite quickly. As I am on an iPad I can jump 10 seconds or change the speed. There are ways round! 🇬🇧👍

Same here, badly worded questions. I took most ancient to mean oldest, not quantity. As far as the northern countries - it asked which of the four were the farthest north (Estonia, Denmark, Ireland, or Bulgaria) ... so with or without Greenland, Canada would not be an answer. (If you exclude Greenland, which is indeed a part of Denmark, the answer would be Estonia.) Also, Yellowstone is in three states: Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho ... it does not just end at the borders of Wyoming.

15. It should be 16, as Greenland is a possession not a country (I said, Estonia). It is like saying that Chile, Argentina and England are the southernmost countries because they all claim the Antarctic peninsula (than ends in the South Pole) as their own.
I know this is year late, but Greenland is a territory of Denmark not it’s own country. I also got this question wrong though as I forgot about Greenland.
That photo of Canada looks a bit like the Maroon Bells in Colorado.

Q9. Thought Egypt was the most ancient pyramid?
An absurdly easy quiz. Before commenting, via Webex yesterday I tried the questions on the seven of my grandsons who are in years 3 or 4 at school. The three in BC scored 16, 17, and 17. The two here in Kenya got 15 and 15. The two in Queensland got 12 (Alex hates geography), and 19 (the other twin is a geography nerd).

@@QuizBeezCom He didn't way what HE got on the quiz. Only what his grandchildren got. It wasn't "absurdly" easy. A couple of the questions made me hesitate instead of giving my gut answer. eg Who would have thought Sudan had more pyramids than Egypt, and we know there are a lot of pyramids in CA, but how to quantify them against Egypt, etc. Good quiz. Also, I knew SA had more than one capital, but I didn't know it was three. I thought two only.

It's a wonderful compilation with interesting facts. I got 20/20. In the first question one of the options given was America. It should have been mentioned as either north america or south america as there is no single american continent literally. My point of view is to see that those who appear for competitive exams shouldn't be subject to confusion. Good Luck
AMÉRICA it's a single continent. From Canada to Argentina. North América, Central América and South América aren't continents. Those are political divisions to make " easy" the analysis of such enormous land ( the world's biggest continent ). And finally " América " its not a country . USA ( United States OF América) its a country. Don't forget the " OF" .

@@rinohorizonte I do unerstand that. Here the case is about the continent. South America or North America. As per the present world Geography there r 7 continents including S.A and N.A.
S.A with 12 nations and N.A with 23 nations. This is the present status of these two contintents.
As you mentioned in your earlier reply America was a big continent before being bifurcated as 2 continents.
Several million years ago there was a supercontinent called Pangaea. As a consequnce of Tectonic plates sliding/ collision, the present continents formation took place. My point of saying is that "everything is subject to chane" Upgrading/updating is a must in the present situation according to which I made my foremost comment.
Finally, I wish the viewers/subscribers would learn of useful information from this channel.
@@badampudiraju6170 There's not such thing about seven continent. Is just a convention posted by political issues. Geographic true speak only América. Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania. ( green, red, yellow, black, blue rings showing at the Olympic flag). No such thing as " Nort Europe" "South Europe". " North Oceania " or " South Oceania " etc . There's only one exception " South Africa is a established country. Is not related with North Africa or South Africa as a continent itself.

I would suggest using accented characters to the names listed for several cities. Although they are recognizable they are grammatically incorrect. One should never translate or spell proper names incorrectly as they are spelled in their origin or family.
19/20. I thought Guatemala has the most pyramids. I know there are many in central America and Mexico, but not in the same country, I guess.
