Nice video, is it 8bit and having trouble with some colours, the background is showing some breaking around the lights. Not a deal breaker but that could be its 8bit or if colour graded, maybe the blues are pushed a little too far?. Great video, been thinking about this for clients as a follow cam
Yea it breaks a little when facing light directly, could be a small sensor because the tiny 2 does a better job on RGB Colored lighting. Most cameras I have seen with a small sensor or low lens aperture tend to have this problem
@@LiveProductionTips A small optical zoom range would make the camera even more flexible. I would also accept a higher price for this. A cheaper solution would be clip-on lenses like the nd filters. I would buy a package with 2x, 4x and 8x immediately 😉
@alexmairginter2911 it definitely needs some optical zoom because of the features it’s offering. Especially the directors grid feature it takes one image and creates multiple angles out of it. All of it is by zooming
Good review but its NOT got 8x optical zoom it only has 4x digital zoom ONLY ..... i think your getting confused with the 8 optical layered lenses .... ive got this camera myself and personally i think the image quality is far worst than what's on my Samsung galaxy note 10 (thats a 5 yr old phone ??)
Yes I got confused a little at first I thought it was optical zoom and realized it was actually all digital. Yes when you zoom in the image starts getting really noisy. The camera works best when you have good lighting or outdoors
@@LiveProductionTips how did you over come the low volume of the recording of the sound via a wireless lav microphone, as im struggling to boost the sound even in the video editor (its been ramped up in the video editor to 200% and the sound still sound to low.....I've used a Rode, Boya, Dji Hollyland, and the new Shure movemic mv two kit..... and all have come out sounding very low in its sound volume level.... ive gone back to using my Samsung, it just far better quality in both video quality and sound
@@petronasracing1 the key is to boost the mics gain to the right lever not too much to clip it but loud enough so in post production you just make minor adjustments.

Could be overkill for most people. You should check out the OBSBOT Tiny 2 4K is my favourite. And it’s just a webcam. I have a video about right before this one and I am working on a comparison vid against the Tail

can you set the camera to record all of the multiple angles (director grid options) into separate files so you have the ability to use each for one video?

Does it get hot like every other 4k gimbal webcam?
I used it with HDMI out connected for about 5 hours it got a little bit hot but nothing to be concerned about.
