That Equinox EV looks great.
I was very pleasantly surprised by my Equinox EV test drive. Ordered one in the 3LT trim. Great looking car, nice ride, gorgeous infotainment screen, love the voice control. And the car is always very excited to see me (if I have the fob), lol. The biggest complaint I have is I will have to wait a bit for my car to be built. 😞
I was looking for a regular civic:mazda3 sized car. Test drove a Bolt and saw right away how much better it was. Chevy is doing good things right now.

Actually one would upgrade to an Equinox EV vs Bolt EUV because of the DC Fast Charging speed, AWD, size, rear suspension and comfort.
Yes, AWD and faster charge times are a great reason. Funny that it never even crossed my mind as I really have no need for either, but thanks for the comment.. will make great selling points.
Another great video Dave. I can’t wait to see a video on the Black Traverse Z71 that was in the background of the last video. I personally think that will be a home run for Chevy adding the Z71 package to the new Traverse. We have not seen any of the new Equinox EV’s on the roads here in East Tennessee yet, so thank you for the videos you have posted.
Thanks for answering my question Dave. You're the man! I have mainly been considering the switch from the Bolt EUV to the Equinox EV for the fast charging and the extended range. Just wasn't sure if those were good enough reasons.
Those are great reasons!! Not even on my radar as I never worry about range and have no need for faster charge times in my personal situation.

Love love our new Equinox EV 2RS AWD it is spectacular and we traded a 2023 CT5 for it! Love it!
Side thing about the doors, I love on my Bolt that I'm able to double tap the button to unlock the doors for everybody else. Wonder if you're able to do something similar on the Equinox EV.
There is a touch sensitive pad on the handle to lock/unlock the doors. So yes. :)
Dave, I may not agree with you on the choice of EV's over ICE's, and this is strictly my opinion ,I do find your videos extremely knowledgeable and look forward to every one of them. Please keep them coming and do even more if possible.Because of you I will be buying a Chevy in the near future.
What is there to disagree about? If an ev works for people there is nothing to debate or agree on. I'm not understanding how people can be against the idea of EVs in general as in they shouldn't be offered or endorsed by automakers and dealers.

Great video Dave. My auto group has a big chevy dealership and we often have several used Equinoxes on the lot. I try to learn all the vehicles we have in stock even though I predominantly sell New and Certified Hondas', I can sell Used chevy's from our other lots. I tell ya, I drove a 2024 Traverse High country the other day, I'm a fan.

EVs also tens to be bigger inside since there are not ICE parts. Looking at Bolt EUV from outside, there is no way me 6', son#1 6'3" and Son#2 5'¹11", should fit in there comfortably, but we do.

Inflation happened. That 30k comment was made back in 2022, much has changed since then.

I was sitting behind a Chevy Equinox at a traffic light a couple of years ago. I was looking at the details on the back, like I usually do, and I noticed that the letters spelled "EQINUOX". I shit you not.
I wonder if the buyer knew that it was misspelled on the back.

so when the handles presented themselves and I like the feature that not all doors can be accessed. But why did yo have to pull on the handle twice to open?

I think the size of the Equinox EV threw me off because it doesn't have a side window in the cargo area behind the rear passenger doors.
If i lived in a warmer climate i would have an EV in heartbeat. But minus 10c is a daily high where i live in western Canada and can get down to minus 40C. Maybe time to move to somewhere warmer i think....

If I had to do it today I'm sure I'd get it done (with a lot of pain.. lol)... I've been doing treadmill incline runs at level 12 and 60 minute Stairmaster workouts (300 floors)... I should hopefully be decently prepared by September

There is a key hole in the rear lift gate. You unlock the lift gate then you can open the doors from the inside.
On the Bolt EUV, on the handle, there's a hidden key compartment. You have to pop off the cover by sticking the key in the slot, then it reveals the slot.
I went from a Bolt EV to a Bolt EUV and now have an Equinox EV. No comparison, the Equinox EV blows the EUV Away
Living in rural New Mexico electric cars or trucks will not work for us, plus oil and gas is what drive our economy in NM.

i work at a chevy dealership in austin texas.....we cant give these EVs away.

@@angy97 12V system will still be active and doors can be opened manually anyway without 12V power from the inside.
Why the hell did they call this EV an Equinox? There is absolutely nothing in common between these two. And we so much don't need these useless door handles!
