Hi we have this tent, yet to use it or put it up as we have no garden, we will be going camping later in the year..we have purchased the porch, just curious the porch, does it have a door? Does it close or is it just a shelter? Also have you cooked in the porch with flames? Is there space/ is it safe to do so? nothing got melted? Hope to hear from you soon thank you xx
Great video. Not much to be found on line for this tent. I'm looking at purchasing this but myself can't find all the extras for it ie the porch, carpet etc
At the moment alot of staycationers has led to a shortage or stock coming off the shelf as quickly as it is put on. I found this tent a few days ago on ebay with carpet, porch etc at a steal for 500 used once x they'll become available again soon. The tent is plenty big enough to get you started. The others will be available soon enough
Hi mick.. We're out in it again In it tonight for a few days. I'll measure in the morning for you though 😊 of the top of my head, an a guess would be approx half inch thick. Husbands saying more than that but I'll. Measure tomorrow.
It does have zips from top to ground either side. However it does not have one going horizontally at the bottom, it is just the velcro tabs unfortunately. It bothers me a little as you cannot grab both inside and outside doors together so takes a couple of seconds more to do them individually, but not as much as it would bother me if we didn't have the porch too shelter us on getting out. The fly screen goes right around though to keep pests and bugs out or kiddies/pets in. Weird design really.
@@michaelathompsoni.scout.bo6711 Ok thanks for your reply, I'm currently in skegness on water leasure park with a new ansley A6 inflatable tube tent, recently we had some strong winds and the front tube keeps bending in the middle, first time when the tube collapsed it put a dip in the top where it collected alot of rain, collecting all that rain collapsed the other tubes, when we got back the inside of the tent was soaked, I've made sure all tubes are pumped up to the right psi and the guy ropes are thight and this still happens, if it's windy when we are out we don't bother coming back to check it even though we know the front beam has probably collapsed which has a number of times but if it's windy and rain we will have to come back to the tent as the whole thing will collapse, I'm taking the tent back to go outdoors when I get back from skegness hoping I can get the vanguard eclipse 8 premium family tent, I've lost faith in air tents.
Great video guys just purchased this whilst camping last week as we realised a 4person tent isn't great when you got tons of rain and tight space lol. So just pitched it up today. You guys got any advise on cleaning the tent as the one I purchased was show tent and got for amazing deal but has got dirty marks on and bird pooh on side.
Hi yes. Pitch it up. Use only water an a good wipe down to get the stains off and allow to fully dry before packing away. :) this tent has a very good waterproof as it stands so shouldn't do any harm first wash to just wash an dry however if you do have to clean it more regularly then apply a good tent waterproofer like nikwax or fabsil to maintain its waterproof and UV protective qualities too. Read the instructions carefully as some require it to be applied whilst the tent is still wet and other brands prefer it is allowed to dry completely first. I wouldn't recommend using any soap or detergent, but a hose and sponge should do the job. Also don't use a pressure washer or strong setting on the hose :)
Great job on the video - there isn't anything else available online - so thank you very much!
We were looking at this today, thanks for the video it’s great x

Yes it's absolutely fine. We have it about 1 ft from window and use the cooker or halogen on the middle shelf for extra peace of mind

This is Tawd Vale Scout camp. unfortunately only for scouts members :)
Hi, the main door looks like it's just Velcro to fasten them up with, is there no zip

@@rsw600 if it helps. This sits solid in the wind. Steel poles are heavy but when your in a storm you do appriciciate them!
Brilliant upload I own ten different tents they are all for sale lol.

Awesome video did you also buy the footprint?
We did.. It makes finding a suitable pitch easier :)
