Hi, and thank you. The vango casa and all the bits we had here were great, but we have now gone to an airtent and are finding even more bits! Who said camping was cheap🤔
Great video, I also too brought that cheap amazon fire pit.. It's absolutely fantastic it really is a beast and gets alot of postive comments/attention.. Only thing to be nit picky is the nuts come loose but I'm sure there is a way it could be modified I just remember to tighten nuts before and after use... As for tents we have brought the Vango stargrove ii tc 600xl air beam.. TC stands for technical cotton.. Its a poly cotton material and therefore an upgrade on the typical polyester tents.. From the research I've done apparently it has a lifespan 3 times longer than a polyester tent also to note it's considerably cooler in hot weather vs polyester I think that's a game changer however its still warm but you can notice the difference.. Most of all it's the ease of setting up.. We erect our tent In 10 minutes give or take it really is the future. Same for packing away it takes no time at all... They have rebranded the stargrove line and now called it lismore but it's practically the same as the stargrove... Generally any airbeam tent I would highly recommend. Keep up the great content and will look forward to the next video 📹
Hi William and thanks for the info. We are looking at upgrading to an air tent soon. The Vango has done us proud, but we saw lots of fantastic tents on that trip, a lot of which made us jealous... and yep, that firepit gets a big thumbs up from us..Great bit of kit..👍
@@Milkyway48822 oh, hope wind dies off for you. Well unless your into surfing, in which case you are in a great part of the country to do it. Let us know how the tent survives👍
Last night it got up to 50 mph and the air beams stayed still the whole time but lots of other tents were in the bin this morning and I went bodyboarding for the first time and it was amazing .
Great video, we get through so many lights, not many are very good. We found usb rope lights to be perfect for inside the tent. GET a projector best thing I ever purchased, especially for the later months when it's darker at night. We set it up outside for my daughter and any friends she makes. So they can all chill with a film when they all need to calm down a bit after a manic day running around. Great video.
Hi, thanks for the lights tip. Think we may well try that, and the projector is Scott's goal. Think by next season we will have one...boys and their toys🙄
For battery lights I’d recommend Quechua. Good light, good price. But if you’re regularly camping with EHU, we’ve got a Kampa collapsible light that id highly recommended. We’ve also got the same fire pit but haven’t been able to use it yet as we’ve only visited camping/caravan club sites that don’t allow open fires. Another good camping vlog. 👍🏻 🏕
Hi Stu, thanks for the comment. We will be checking out Quechua lights now in time for next trip. Will let you know how it goes. You will love the firepit and defo recommend the instant logs that we used. Available in most supermarkets for £2-3 or in B&M for £1.50. Worth buying couple in advance in case you are not near any shops.
Hi, we have just been using the firelogs (compressed things) that seem to be available in all main supermarkets these days. They cost about £2-3, but definitely worth it..
Hi ,,very impressed about your gear and portable charger point is a mostly . Could you let me know where I can buy that charger please , Its ok I have found your previous video ...thank you ..
Hi, yes I think you will find that if taking air beds, all tents 7-8 berth are pretty snug. Camping beds or the inflatable mattresses may be better option for a family of 5, although in a new vango ventanas we did that find that bit wider, enough for 2 doubles and a single possibly?
Hi Sorry unsure what the actual make is, it was amazon job..There are quite a few available if you search..I will see if Scott can find the link and we will add to comment..
New sub and just bought the firepit on your recommendation. Cant help but think by the time you add all those together you could get a trailer tent / caravan to have permanent fixtures. Love the channel and camping tho. Style is excellent
Hi, you can't go wrong with the firepit. We think out of all the items we have bought, that is probably the best when it comes to value for money. And yes, the camping gear has cost a bit, roof box and bars were probably the most expensive parts. And to top it off, Scott has just bought new smaller car🙄, but it does have tow bar.. so we will see what happens🤔
The Vango Casa Lux is a great tent - We have just upgraded to an Air Tent, but still keeping hold of it. It is we think the perfect tent for families and had some great times in it..Hope they enjoy it
Just found you on TH-cam , we used to go camping a lot back in the day then we brought a touring caravan then a Ford transit duetto campervan which I’ve now decided to sell lol , brought a little tent just to go away weekends when I’m not working , I live in perranporth , weather today as been beautiful here . What was the names of the large towels you showed us .
Hi Kay, envy you living in Perranporth. Such a lovely place. We think they are Highgear towels We bought them from GoOutdoors for about £9 each. Definitely worth it though...
Do you intend using the fire pit for cooking? If so, you had best use just the one instant log product you will get the heat without the flame. If not, then why have the pit in the first place?
hi guys watched the vid of the pump up free crox bubble tent if you,ve got that free fair play ..looked online at the price £5oo + no thanks looks great though ..enjoy yourselves keep the vids coming ...
Hi yes, they wanted us to test it for them. Think they thought if we could put it up anyone can😄 And yes it is an amazing bit of kit. We are going to be testing it in anger soon as I am getting Scott to look an a no EHU break. Should be fun🙄
Hi, yes was a squeeze but it all fitted in. Got a problem this year though, smaller car, bigger tent and a dog.. think we will need a caravan to put it all in🙄
Hi I am interested in taking the family camping, but u am concerned about leaving the camp site due to the security of possessions, any tips what do you guys do, just leave the tent unattended?
Hi, we always take our phones out with us when we go out, but we have never experienced or heard of anyone having anything stolen or damaged during any of our trips. We think you will find it is very safe. Most campers are a friendly bunch..
Believe me there is nowt wrong with the old sign post mate. As are maps also, they are a fail safe. Forget the electronics and go naked with the originals and teach the kids the same. That will defo keep them occupied and they will sleep better too.
That looks like the most comfortable base camp I have ever seen!!!!

I’m going to watergate bay touring park in exactly one week in my air beam and your videos make me so exited about camping
You will have to let us know how you get on with your air tent as we are thinking of upgrading...🤔
I’m in Newquay currently only just arrived it’s amazing and strong because it’s really windy

Can I suggest you get pop up toilet tent there not expensive better than toilet next to food station
Hi, yes we do have one, and dont worry, we constantly play musical toilet when camping..👍
Wow! I miss camping❤❤❤

Really helpful, we're shopping for a tent to take us and 3 kids away, though when we look at 8 berth they look more like 5 when you add air beds.

@@TheHadwinsTV What air tent did you go for?
Hi, we went for the Vango Ventanas in the end. Big tent, when it's up as well as in the bag...

Hi there! This is the Vango Casa Lux 😉
re. lights I bought a set of 200 warm white led lights, electric, and they light up the full tent :-)
Hi, great thanks for tip, we will look at them👍
Do you intend using the fire pit for cooking? If so, you had best use just the one instant log product you will get the heat without the flame. If not, then why have the pit in the first place?

Hi, yes, well inflatable beams at least...

why not use your fan to inflate the Lazy sofa 🙂
Hi, never thought of that, but we did find air went out of it quicker than it went in?
Instant fire logs do not last long some have more time than others better off with coal bricks
Top stuff, thanks for info. 👍
