    I have the Anthem installed on an old Gibson and it sounds great, except the gain of the A string is not as loud as the other strings with the same force of pick/plucking. Any ideas how to tweak this? Does it sound more like a guitar problem vs pickup placement/issue?

      It sounds like there's probably something off with the installation. If you want to email support@lrbaggs.com, we can give you some ideas of how to proceed.

    I want to install a pick up like the anthem onto my Martin 00028 but I won't and don't want any holes drilled on the body ( apart from the output plug ) Will this okay for this kind of clean application? Thanks in advance. Will

      The Anthem requires a hole for the undersaddle pickup's installation. If you don't want to drill a hole under the saddle, I'd recommend looking into the Lyric. If you're ok with the 3/32" hole under the saddle, the Anthem is a much more flexible system for a wider range of performance situations.

    Newbie here...we had the SL installed on a YamahaFN-575E. My daughter also plays bass guitar. Her current amp cord doesn't fit this guitar. What cord do I need and do we need a separate amp for this guitar. I know nothing.

    I just had Stagepro Anthem installed in my Larrivee and am trying to adjust the mic. But the space you have to reach through inside the battery compartment is is too narrow for the tool provided. When I try to turn it, the "wings" on the sides of the tool catch in the narrow space. Can I file the wings off? Or maybe just use a skinny phillips-head screwdriver?

    • @LRBaggsResources
      @LRBaggsResources  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the space is too tight, I'd recommend filing the "wings" down or using a small flat-head screwdriver to make any adjustments.

    I was wondering if there a way to disable piezo completely on Anthem?😇
    I have both lyric and anthem but for some reason I am liking Lyric as it can tame the tone without piezo sound.

    • @LRBaggsResources
      @LRBaggsResources  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, the Anthem will always have the undersaddle pickup carrying the low frequencies. The Lyric is the only "mic only" option.

    Is there a risk of damaging the guitar during the installation (drilling etc)

    • @LRBaggsResources
      @LRBaggsResources  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Holes for the output jack and undersaddle pickup usually need to be drilled, but the risk of damaging the guitar is very minimal when installed professionally.

    The mic control on the SL and standard Anthem can be adjusted with the pickup on while playing. How do you do the same with the Stage Pro?

    • @LRBaggsResources
      @LRBaggsResources  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Stage Pro Anthem's Mic Level cannot be adjusted without muting the guitar. It's recommended that the Mic Level on any Anthem is set up ahead of time using a good pair of headphones or a high-quality PA speaker. If you do that, on-the-fly adjustments shouldn't be necessary.

    • @LRBaggsResources

      Thanks to Lrbaggs supoort team for helping me out to find a solution. For those who are curious about it, it was actually a problem that a metal piece(a square shaped) inside the decive which actually touching the cover side and overtime it scratchs off the silver paint, probably causing the grounding issue. Using a small piece of foam Lrbaggs send me between the metal and the cover inside the device fixed it.

      I know somebody has answered your question but I've just got the SL and I love it. Its very light and I love the simplicity of it. There's just a volume control and you have to set the mic level for your particular guitar (even the lowest mic setting picks up a little treble and body sound). I only turn the mic up a very little bit otherwise you lose the bass from the undersaddle pickup and it gets a bit thin sounding. I prefer the SL to the full version because it seems like you can have a little less mic without the piezo quacky sound. I can't believe everybody doesn't use one of these pickups, they're so natural sounding.

    I have a Martin OM-28. For some reason, the mic gives me more low-end than the guitar naturally has, similar to the proximity effect. Is there a way to fix this by adjusting the mic, or is a lowcut preamp the only solution? I did not install this pickup myself

    • @LRBaggsResources
      @LRBaggsResources  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The Anthem mic doesn't carry any low end, so the extra bass would be coming from the undersaddle pickup. If you want to email us at support@lrbaggs.com, we can go over how that might need to be addressed with the installation.

    Hello, i have the m80 in my acoustic. I was wondering, it is possible to plug the m80 instead of the piezo input on the anthem mixer?

    • @LRBaggsResources
      @LRBaggsResources  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The Anthem was designed specifically for the frequency response, output level and impedance of the Element Piezo. Plugging in an M80 will produce sound, but it's probably going to take a LOT of EQ to get a decent sound.

    • @LRBaggsResources
      @LRBaggsResources  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The bigger issue is that the Anthem preamp and the M80 don't usually fit into the same soundhole at the same time.

    If I find myself in a situation where I need a sounhole cover, would cutting it to fit around the controls be effective and then, would the mic be mixed off?

    • @LRBaggsResources
      @LRBaggsResources  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Cutting a rubber soundhole cover is a pretty effective way to deal with feedback if you should encounter it. The mic in the Anthem cancels out a lot of reflections in the body, so it's tone should be minimally effected by the soundhole cover.
