COMMON SENSE MESSAGE!! Im sure everyone will use their common sense when embossing through an electric machine. You can press out some of the excess water beforehand, seeing as its going to be pressed anyway, and even lay some kitchen roll on your boards as it goes through the machine to soak up any excess. xx

A Little tip, I just made myself a embossingfolder 😊, I used two plastiek lace placemats and sandwiched in between the toiletpaper, it just worked goed even with the ink

I did your method, and love the results. Instead of binding, I made an envelope to hold the pages, and tied it closed. It is a song journal with the song I can see clearly now. Thanks for sharing this.
Just got this video in my feed. I really like ur technique. We got extremely lucky in the sense that nobody really did any toilet paper hoarding in the town I live in, population about 60,000. We just moved so I'm still trying to get my craft room set up. I never learned how to use a sewing machine but I found a mini sewing machine for $14 on Amazon so I bought it. It doesn't do any speciality stitches but for my first machine it's perfect. I'm going to try making a journal like this. Right now I make them out of granola boxes but I hand sew all the binding. I'm so excited to try this also bcuz I just bought my first sprays right before we moved. I have alcohol sprays that I made using rubbing alcohol and sharpies but the sprays I bought r shimmery, yay me. Anyway thanx 4 the video, really cool.
Hi Carol and Penni. I just love this toilet paper technique that Carol has taught. I've been planning to make a book like this for some time. I also liked Penni's comment on making her own alcohol sprays with markers. Penni could you please tell me how you do that? Thanks to both of you girls!!!! You are both so creative. 😊
@@cynthiamelinn2743 buy rubbing alcohol and fat sharpie markers and empty spray bottles, some sort of protective rubber gloves, a funnel, and something to mix the alcohol and sharpie tips. Pour alcohol into the spray bottle (so u know how much it takes to fill the spray bottle) then pour that out into another container (preferably one that a hand fits in) then use a pliers to pull the tips off of the marker and put the tip in the alcohol. Use ur fingers and pinch the felt tip to help get the color out and mix it up, and if u don't like how light or dark the color is either add another tip or don't squeeze the tip to get as much color out then use the funnel to pour it into the spray bottle and ur done. I found the perfect size spray bottles at Walmart in the section that has the travel size shampoos. I made mine back in like 2013 and the color doesn't separate so once they r mixed they stay mixed and they haven't like gone bad in any way so yes they r still just as bright as they were when I made them. And then I just put a piece of tape on the bottle with the color bcuz like the black and purple look like they're the same color. Have fun 😊 Oh the alcohol smell can get pretty strong so if that bothers u make sure u make them in a well ventilated area. It didn't bother or affect me in any way and I did all of mine in one sitting in a craft room that's just the size of a normal bedroom.
