I just found this tutorial (part 1 and 2), and I cannot tell you how beautiful I think this is. I will honestly tell you that part 2 made me cry throughout. "What A Wonderful World" was my mom's favorite song and we played it at her funeral. Even though you didn't sing it while flipping through your presentation, I did! And I will sing it in my head for a few days. The idea of embossing TP is a great idea and making a book and cover using this method is wonderful and something I plan on trying myself. Thank you Carol. I just love watching anything you do and appreciate your simple to follow instructions. You are wonderful. Thank you.

I appreciate your resourcefulness in re-purposing virtually everything! I’m like that too! I also liked that you mentioned you snipped off the shanks of those buttons! Now I can use those where flat buttons are what’s called for. Love this journal and the protective envelope! Many thanks for the ideas.

Have to admit, this is the nicest journal I have seen. Using toilet paper is different. I watched cause I was thinking of using this with my card making. I've thought of doing junk or journal, but didn't know where to start. Love how you used a song! going to do some thinking and see were I go with this. I have to say that this is such a professional job! I loved watching you create this album and envelope! What a beauty it turned out to be! You must have one of those large platform embossing machines to do the paper towel on the outside of the envelope and a large embossing folder. 😊💕

OH...MY!! Your channel was in my recommended and, wow, the algorithm got it right today. For some reason I have been seeing a lot of "envelope" things today and I am loving all the ways I've seen people using them and this is no exception. The toiler tissue embossing was clever - and I am gonna try that with toilet tissue and with paper towels because it looks amazing, but the envelope you made at the end - blew me away! That looked like something you would find tucked away in the Queen's archives or something. You just gave me so many ideas right now - beautiful share and I am CERTAIN I will be making/doing something with this technique!!!

Fantastic ideas....when Covid is over, (if it ever is), and toilet paper isn't so hard to find around here, I must try it!!!!! And, what is so funny, and shows how our imagination works; when you started using the shoe polish around the edges of the envelope, I swear I could smell shoe polish!!!! LOL!!! Hugs, and you're the best!!!!

Thank you - Just use a rolling pin instead. Lay solid items ( or foam shapes, wire, mesh etc )on the paper, then a board and press with the rolling pin ;) Jobs a goodun xx

Thanks so much 😊 You can use a rolling pin. Add some shapes, netting, anything with texture, lay on the wet paper, place a board on top and run the rolling pin over it :) xx
