Great match! I have a question regarding the play made on 0:45 with Substitoad. How were you able to dump both Treeborns, Unifrog, and a Substitoad? I am trying to learn Frog Heroes the best way possible. Thank you!
By substitoads effect - essentially he is special summoning those waters from his deck and then tributing them. Because his opponent has no response to this, he is just speeding up the process and dumping them straight into the grave instead of putting them to the field first and then tributing to special another water.
@ Ahhh. Thank you so much for explaining this. I really just thought the frog player was just dumping them from another card's effect, and I was just getting lost in the process from it, haha. What would be the most optimal way to use Substitoad's effect during the first turn play?
@@kingleonidas109Many players on first turn like to normal substitoad, Tribute itself for swap frog, use its summon effect to put treeborn in grave, then use swaps effect to give itself back to hand. You end up with an empty field for this turn and probably take damage, but have access to treeborn next turn
Just a ruling question: at the very last turn it looked like you specialed both treeborns from the grave. Isnt that illegal, cause treeborn says his effect cant be used if theres already a treeborn on the field? Im new to edison so i really wonder
This is me personally but I think against light sworn I think it’s best to hold trap dust shoot for a bit to see if they opened up charge or solar recharge
@@LegacyRetroFormats Siding out the Dupe Lock against GBs seems odd to me, that deck wins by attacking, so its one of the few decks where you really have to hard Dupe Lock them instead of the Sub/Dupe Soft lock. How do, you specifically, navigate that matchup without the dupe lock?

Oscar, if you have dark circles under your eyes... It is a sign of iron deficiency. It could be the lighting in that photo at the end, because I can't say I've noticed it before. When you have access to another special summon, like prodigy, you can go for more crazy stuff like soft and hard dupe lock

Didn’t win a match 😭 but I lost to Blackwings and the mirror match
I love Raiza in this matchup. Hitting any lightsworn makes their draw not a bomb. More draws that are not bombs = more bombs milled
I usually take out phoenix wing wind blast against Lightsworn also idk I may keep raiza in next time just to see how it does

I may try this next time I face lightsworn I usually just flip it right away in most scenarios but some players I’ve talked to prefer to hold it
