- This is a big deal for me as not only did I build the car myself, I built the car as an all-rounder and it has proven to be very reliable at doing burnouts, noprep racing and track activities, so to polish it off with a 7 second run on the drag strip really made my day.
The rain was against us all weekend but we managed to get 3 runs, it would have been nice if we could have squeezed in one more run as the next one would have likely been another pb.
We ran 7.86 @175mph with a 1.29 60ft with the 14/71 roots blown big block chevy 1978 Holden ute weighing in at 3580lbs race weight.

That converter is slipping you need a tighter converter for racing
Yeah dale has told me that needs to be tightened up, I have another stator that will tighten it up 1000rpm or so
I imagine the acceleration of this blown big block utility to be similar to my mums 95 Hyundai Excel with premium in it
