If it's not rolling up I'd say, you might have an issue with the window motor itself, but either way if you buy the one I linked in the description, it will get you a new regulator and a new motor
Yea if you use the switch on the up position the motor just whines, but nothing happens. My guess is something is stripped so its just spinning and no grab. At 26 years old, id say a replacement is justifiable haha.
No worries brother! These trucks are good, but eventually some stuff does start going out. I personally can't complain, my trucks been great to me overall. With that patch on your shoulder, it looks like you were in Korea. I spent some time there as well, so it seems we have more than just trucks in common!
Just happened to my 1999 Prerunner, will go down, not up, hear the motor just spinning, stripped a gear I guess. Bought this brand new, been good, going to try to keep it going. Thanks for the info. Going to order the part, thought I could just order a new motor, guess not.

Yeah, I could find the genuine Toyota part for about $200ish but the $55 Amazon one has been working good for me 👍give it a shot.

Thanks dude, I got a Prerunner too. This problem just happened after replacing my latch actuator. I feel like its one thing after another!

Set you don’t show out the step to remove the power regulator?
You un-bolt it and then take it out the hole

Maybe the switch just got unplugged? Have you popped the door panel off and checked the back of the switch?
If that doesn't work, check your fuses @dewey627
