    So much value Sam.
You give some of the most honest and straight forward advice.
You should make a video talking about some of the things you struggle with or used to struggle with that you overcame. I think it would be very value-able in your current position.
    Keep climbing brother

I found your channel yesterday and it's a breath of fresh air. You have wisdom beyond your years and courage to tell the truth. The amount of lies and stupid information that is being fed to the public everyday is enormous. And what is really hard is staying different and not conforming to what the society likes to see. Huge majority of the programs and entertainment is created using the lowest common denominator.

Hello Sam, nice video! My question is:
I can think on my 5 year, 1 year etc goals with clarity. But It's very difficult for me to be clear about the smaller steps to achieve these goals. It seems impossible to reverse engineer the steps. I just don't know exactly all the thousands of steps I need to take. What do you recommend to do? Thanks!

Sam, thanks a lot for this. I don't normally comment on videos, but I felt a true connection with you on this, which I don't often feel when watching guru videos. You provided genuinely useful information, without any obvious push towards your products. Love it!

Awesome video Sam. People would achieve A LOT More if they better understood "delayed gratification."
In my humblest opinion, I feel instant gratification can be real cancerous in your life in the long term.
I agree with what you said about Social Media 1000%. It definitly has a vice grip on the mind of the majority that consumes it.

I have one question for you-- what happens when your goals change? What if I'm not entirely sure on what I want to be doing in 10 years? Would it be advisable to just pick something even if I don't feel 100% "passionate" about it?
Thank you for this video and all the other content you put out!

    • @sibotron3437
      @sibotron3437 5 ปีที่แล้ว

If you are not sure on your goal. I would advise that you do not fixate on that goal as if you do not know where you are going with your life, or not 100% then you will keep floating around searching for that goal after a shot time. Just take a moment to sit and reflect on what you truly want to achieve whether it is: financial gain, happiness, strength. Once you ARE 100% sure on what you would like to achieve in let's say 1 year as it does not need to be 10 years. Then, we should act day by day and take the necessary action to achieve that goal. After a year passes by, what can we do THIS year to achieve this new goal. For example: I made $100,000 last year, this year I want to make $500,000. I hope this helped you out and solved your problem.

As usual, Sam, I love your video.
Paraphrase: "Never stare at the summit, by doing that you don't get there."
    "Don't fixate on Lamborghinis ".
This is the exact OPPOSITE of what Dan Lok says:
Paraphrase: "I want that $250,000 car.
    1. Set it, 2. see it, 3. live it, (go to dealerships and take it for a test drive.), 4. share it: (Tell people when looking at the Bentley: "That's my car." ). Then it becomes normal, you get used to the lifestyle." Like fake it till you make it.
    Interesting the disagreement.
However, I do think that Dan is right to say that you should aim for something you want, and keep going in that direction.
And I do think that Sam is right in saying that you'll get disheartened if you look at all the work you have to do [as one chunk].
"Walking a few steps", then repeat is easier than "Climbing a MOUNTAIN!"
I think that chunking it up, and then plotting a graph of your path to that goal is a very pleasing way to do it, you get the joy of your progress.
I used that method to write my (scientific) PhD thesis very quickly. (I don't do ANYTHING quickly).

I have a previous example of "the summit". I was sitting down and I had kept looking at the clock to see how long was left until my time was up. I looked at the clock and saw that there was still 15 minutes left after a long time of doing my meditation. Then, because I kept looking at the clock, I began to have to urge to leave because that thought of wanted to leave was fixated in my mind. So, what I would do is tell myself that there is 30 minutes left instead. Now why would I do this? I did this because, if we make our minds think that it is going to take longer than it ACTUALLY is- then when I feel that 15 minutes is up, I can look at the clock to check. This way, the mind thinks that "actually that was not a long time at all" when the time is up. However if I looked at the clock too soon, I would repeat the process and tell myself that it is going to take longer that it really is. We can trick the brain into making ourselves have more endurance and achieve things that we think are not achievable.
