Hi Ciprian, we are so glad you love the radio and it was a pleasure to make this present for you. Enjoy your QRP adventure and let us catch up in the radio bands. vy 73 de Andrei, YO6TJJ
It was an amazing surprise. I can't wait to get on air... and hopefully soon we can have a QSO as well... it's about time after waiting for so long ))) 73
Thank you so much my friend. Very special moment indeed. I'm 42 and I've been dreaming about this moment since I was 8 ))) I can't wait to get on air. 73 my friend DE YO6DXE.
Hi Chip, so glad you have such a nice transceiver to use for when your license arrives. I was nervous about my first QSO so I tried FT8 but I didn't make a contact. In the end my first QSO was on SSB with a ZL station. Great fun, enjoy! 73, VK7IAN
Good morning from Transylvania Ian ) Thank you so much. Ohhh God I'm so excited, I'm out of patience haha. I'm also nervous as well about the first contact. Especially when I will finish learning Morse code and do a QSO on CW. I do know now that a bunch of people are "hunting" for me and waiting for me to get on air to have the first QSO with them haha. I'm also "hunting" for N1SS on FM simplex for a first QSO haha. We will see. It is time to have some fun finally after waiting for so long. 73 my friend.
Congratulations on becoming a ham! I’ve been subscribed to you for awhile. You have some interesting projects. Your way ahead of the game for most new hams. 73’s de n5vwn
Congratulations on earning your amateur radio license. You are now a member of a world-wide radio enthusiast. I also just received my TR(u)SDX transceiver. It is a true marvel of technology and simplicity. 73 de Guy AE6FE
Good morning Guy. Indeed is a marvel... I still can't believe they managed to pull out all those functions out of such a simple processor. It's amazing... I just love it for the same reason... simplicity. 73 my friend and thank you.
Thank you so much. I hope you manage to get one. They are really fun to use. Glad they are not that expensive comparing to some other similar rigs. 73 DE YO6DXE.
@@dxexplorer I sure will. It's actually a pretty decent kit. Im planning on adding an Adruino VFO, so I can tune across the entire 40 meters band. I will let you know. I have documentation on the project.
Great video, amic. I have one of those beautiful little radios. Works great for POTA/SOTA or just out in the field. Piero Begali (I2RTF) also has one. Maybe you will meet him on the air some day! Stay healthy! 73 de W8IJN
I really like it as well. I'm just waiting for my license to arrive and I can't wait to go out and do some SOTA activations. 73 Nils and have an amazing week.
Hi, nice little tranceiver, pretty compact and at a reasonable price. The enclosure could have been a bit better : ) You must be very happy with this present. Looking forward to seeing the video with a qso! 73's
Very happy indeed. I'm just out of patience to receive my license so I can use it as it still didn't arrived. The case... is 3D printing... all is the same. But I have an idea hahaha. 73 Nikos.
Way better than I was expecting. I've been following this little TRx for a long time now and I wanted to build it out of curiosity, but I have to admit I always had a doubt about the SSB part to be honest. Well... I clearly got that sorted out. I put some reels on my Instagram with how it sounds in SSB. Really nice actually. But... don't use the internal speaker... unless you have nothing else at hand. 73
WOT? Just like an old girlfriend the poor pixie is abandoned on the shelf 😂 I bet that SDR won't receive the whole 40m band at the same time 😆 Welcome to the digital age, enjoy.
Ohhhhh no no nooooo. Not for me Nigel. I'm actually improving the Pixie as we speak as I just had a brilliant idea thanks to this little transceiver hahaha. Let's see if it will work as I'm not that smart so it may take me a while. Radio show later this evening after I get some quiet time to record. But guess what. I'm working on the cables to connect the (tr)uSDR to the computer so we can fo the FT8 test. But if my license will arrive this week maybe we are even lucky for a QSO if the propagation will help ))) I'm so excited you have no idea. We catch up in a little. 73 Nigel.
Thank you so much for this Video and your kind words. I hope you will enjoy it ! @Andrei AVIRVAREI: Thank you also for donating this rig to this Gentleman ! 73 Manuel; DL2MAN
You did great Manuel. I hate everything that is digital... but this little rig made me like it. Thank you. Andrei... he made me one happy man... I must pay him back in a way or another. 73 Manuel.
Congrats dr OM YO6DXE! I have also a TR(u)SDX I build myself from a kit! I love it too! Very small and experimental TRX! Best buy for the 'buck' ! I have ordered a second HF-board to make a 'Hi-Band'-version, so I have only to change the HF-boards and switch in the menu, to swap from "Lo-Band" to "Hi-Band" ! (20/17/15/12/10m) I bought my TR(ur)SDX from a spanish OM, who sold them in different ways! (with/without enclosure, kit with all parts, only boards with SMD done, complette TRX ... and so on !) I know, I have to exchange all the SMD-capacitors on the HF-board for the LP-filters, and re-adjust all the ring-cores, to match the new bands! But, I hope, it will be a success with no problems! Will tell you, when it is working and if it is O. K. ! 73 and hpe 2 cu on HF, de Markus ; db9pz
Thank you so much Markus. I thought a long time to order the PCB and the parts to build it a few months ago... but I had no equipment to do the proper measurements... until today ))) But I'm happy its already built as I had no free time lately anyway. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. 73 my friend.
