Thank you for contributing to the community around this great rig. I was looking exactly for this. It is a great addition that improves the already wonderful job of DL2MAN and PE1NN.

You played a bit of Tetris and 3d puzzles as a kid didn’t you? Your ability to see these projects and improve/minimize them is a real talent

Thank you, Nick. I have 100% been an engineer my whole life. Look up "Dilbert, the Knack." That is me. 😆

Awesome idea. I was going to buy a whole new kit for the convenience but I really like this idea. Starting the printer now. 👍🏼Cheers

Adam I hope to catch you on the bands one day! There’s no SOTA in Louisiana but maybe I can try hunting you on one of your activations. From one QRPer to another, 73 and I appreciate all the content you provide.

Thanks Patrick! I will be on a big summit this weekend, operating Sunday evening and Monday morning. It will be a mix of CW and SSB with the KX2. Keep an eye out for my call on the spotting networks. 🤘😁👍

This is great, thanks Adam. I've been wanting to remix the case also, but to put in some accessories to make it an all-in-one. Ie, build in a CW key or paddles or both, like a KX2 pretty much. I like his 3S 18650 battery holder but not so much the slide-in implementation, I think a snap-on design like yours would work better. Another section for a built-in wire winder - not sure where it'd go, I guess on the bottom and then detach when ready to use it. And I really like my earbuds to stay with it, a little built-in wind-up doodad to keep them internally. But if I do all that, it'll be less a deck-of-cards size case and more like an ammo can haha. Lol, yes, I hear you. I did make a 9mm taller case and fitted a 3s 500mAh LiPo pack and USB-C charge port on one design. A capacitive touch paddle would be an easy addition to the standard unit. I have some PCBs for that if you're interested...

Nice build ! Dumb question: how the black letters are printed on the case ? A change of filament for the last layer ?

Where can i buy this? I want one so I can play around with it and mess with truckers lmao. These are fun for that because you remain anonymous and no one can know where you're talking from. I've always wanted a tiny portable radio, and this might be the one for me.

I’m getting ready to take my exam for Technician, but I’m looking for future expansion of my abilities. What are the options not made in China? I don’t want to support a communist dictatorship just to get something that is cheaper.

For HF, look at Elecraft. For VHF and HF, made in Japan, try Icom. Yaesu still makes some in Japan as well. Everything is going to be made from Chinese parts.

I bought my 'kit' for the (TR)uSDX in Spain!
A not 'legalized' seller sold the kits for 100€ + P&P
      EA3GCY - Javier, sold them.
      The company is called: QRPHAMRADIOKITS
      I have bought all for 100€ + 16€ Post & Package!
The boards are still manufactured and pre-assembled in China.
A very reliable kit. I build it without any flaws!
The TRX is wonderfull! No problems to build and adjust to the specs. On 80m output is abt. 5,6W; and n >= 85%, on 20m still 4,8W and 78% !
Do I need any more, for a QRP-TRX? Not the 'best of the best', but a wonderfull experimental kit, ... !

And what about DL2MAN? He did the multi band circuit and PCB design of uSDX and (tr)uSDX..... no chinese involved.... work was done by Guido PE1NNZ for Software and Hardware Manuel DL2MAN. You are rewarding wrong!

@@saiteklilo50 I don't understand your issue. I clearly give credit to Manuel and Guido for the design. They do not manufacture for sale. The only manufacturer I am aware of that they recommend now is the Chinese seller. dl2man.de/where-to-buy-trusdx/

@@K6ARK Sorry when i look at this video and don't know anything about the trx it sounds like you are presennting a commercial chinese design not Manuels and Guidos (tr)uSDX.
      I'm doing uSDX since 4/2021 and (tr)uSDX since 12/2021.
      It is not clear!
