Have a Maytag MVW6230HC that if there is anything more than half a load and it’s on Normal/bulky/heavy it just continues to “sensor” while trying to rinse. Hi, yes, a loose drum could cause that. Usually if there's a mechanical fault, codes aren't going to show up because there isn't a sensor alloted to the issue. But it works perfectly now.
I purchased this washer in the Summer of 2020. Within the first year we had to replace the display panel. Nearly 4 years later we had to replace the ACU. Now that it has been replaced, the machine gets stuck on the spin cycle. When I do laundry, I have to turn off the machine and use the Drain/Spin feature to complete the cycle. We have called Whirlpool about the issue, and they thought the system needed a software update. It shows that there are no updates needed at this time, but it still gets stuck on the spin cycle. I am now questioning my faith in the Whirlpool/Maytag brand.
Is your dryer a gas dryer? because if ti is electric it does use 240V and not 120V. The first thing is to disconnect power for about one minute and reconnect power. If that doesn't solve the problem. You could have a latch mechanism, water pump or even the main board.

Ben, i have this same washer, and i get no power to the touch screen. I have 120 to it, but Nothing there, so i cant get into diagnostic mode. Would you assume touch screen bad?
Could be. I'd check the control board. It should have a flashing green light on the board if the board has power and is running. If it has the green light, then its the UI. If it doesn't, its the board.
How about for the equivalent dryer?
Is there a way to cancel the cleaning cycle?
thank you man i know how to do it keep some update there some rumor on maytag because ge got the all in one washer and dryer combo will see what happen
If they make one ill buy and review. I will have the review for the GE this week.
I have the Maytag MVW6230HC0 model control board. Can I use any of the alternates from Whirlpool?
The one online seller lists it very expensive, yet it looks the same as the ones for Whirlpool. The board locked up and has a little heart symbol on the screen.
Did u ever get it fixed. If so, what did u do?
@@domingamckinney-cofield1456 ...Yes, I tried an alternate off Amazon that turned out to be slightly different, and so the cheaper alternate didn't work. I went on Ebay, and bought a used board with the exact original model number, taken from a recycled unit (but had a 90 warranty). It was a little more expensive... about $100. But it works perfectly now.
Your right the magtag commerical technology sucks I have one I would not recommend to anyone
Just got this washer had 30 day warranty.. my machine messed up 60 days later its not powrring on😢
I purchased this washer in the Summer of 2020. They have sent out a tech twice, but nothing seems to work. We have been dealing with this for nearly a month with no resolve. I'm ready to give up and purchase a new washer. I am now questioning my faith in the Whirlpool/Maytag brand.
My impression is that this washer is becoming the most hated one on the market by techs
This washer is definitely the worst. I've never in my life purchased a larger piece of junk.

I have tried the DMLS calibration and it does not go past cycle/Spinning. What are my options?
Did you check or find error codes?
Hi, please tell me what I need to do with f3e3 ? Thank you for your video!
Did you get a answer. How do you know
Hi. Where can I download the error code list? The error code F7E4 was cut off in the middle on the video. Thank you!
F7E4 = motor drive module over voltage from the sheet inside my washer. I can't help you further on that.
Do not buy this washer unless you want clothes that are worn out and not clean. Wish I had never bought it.
My washer won’t turn on, is locked and has clothes inside. the power is on because the dryer is working just fine. Please help. What do I do next?
Is your dryer a gas dryer? because if ti is electric it does use 240V and not 120V. The first thing is to disconnect power for about one minute and reconnect power. If that doesn't solve the problem. You could have a latch mechanism, water pump or even the main board.
I’d like to give Maytag an FU code!!!
Ben way wont it fill .l bought this new .l have try all setting to get the right way l wont it to work for me .what it does does .is turn on heavy washer .water comes on but cant see any water then it starts to beat the close with out any water . .can the custom mode video .will it let the machine fill with water before washing .please get back to me.
Yes mine does the same .l hate the washer .there should be a recall on them
Code F8E1 what needs to do ?
I need help with this error, you have a solution bro?
I have just purchased this washer and it’s a large capacity washer but I’ve never seen more than 6 inches of water? Am I doing something wrong?
Need to put it on MAX FILL. Otherwise it will only add water based on the weight of the clothes you put in. These machines are absolutely the worst.
Can confirm! This washer is garbage. I have to make sure all my clothes are wet before I begin a cycle so it will add more water because it thinks the load is heavier than it is.
@@alexandriav3956just leave it on Colored clothes and set water level to "Max Fill" and you will only have to adjust your water temp and wash time...
Great except codes will lock out the touch screen …. No access to diagnostics
Mine keeps turning off saying cycle complete. Literally wont kick over. What do i do?
Same. What did you do to fix it?
I need help but with my dryer.. any videos on that?
Not on this style yet sadly
F6E3 code can u help .
This will not work if your screen says “ power failure E2F2
Should be able to press the start or power button and off to reset that error assuming it was suddenly unpligged
I have a code F2E1 stuck button. What needs to be replaced?
Try to disconnect the user interface from the main controller and then reconnect them it if works it is ok. Or the user interface needs to be replaced.
Mine will sense for washing then go straight to wash complete and hasn’t done a thing I’ve done a factory reset and cleared any error codes… what else can I do???
Mine too. What did you do to fix it?
@@KeishaLewis-38mine too!!! How did you guys fix it?
Bought a new massage washer it will not even start to try it out
On my Maytag model MVW7230HWO washer I changed the motherboard and now I have a code F2E2 displayed and nothing I do removes it from the screen I tried unplugging it for 1 minute The machine has down for about 3week while waiting on the new motherboard so how do I reset the machine so I can use it
I’m literally having the same problem. What’d you do?
Factory reset it
do anyone know where i can get these manuals he is talking about
There is a diagnostic code manual hiding in the plastic pocket inside the front panel of your washer. There might be another one on the back of the washer. It's crazy.
My Maytag keeps saying “maytag washer message please rotate knob to an available cycle” and i can’t figure out why! Someone help lol
Same did you fix it?! It was fine earlier this morning and all of a sudden NOTHING
I have that same washer. Its the worst one i ever bought by far.
I agree horrible washer @maytag
This is a total shit wagon, mine is 6 months old won’t agitate completely garbage!
Under warranty back and forth with parts twice now parts are on back order at least 2 weeks!
Isn’t this consumer fraud??
Maybe dragging their ass into court is in order.
Whirlpool (maytag) has gone totally to junk, wish i knew this before i put this trash in my house!
I am spend $2000 on a washer. AND IT WON'T BE A POS MAYTAG!!!!!!!🤮
Video is terrible too much talking all off point
