Nice video man! I only have a question, my internet system is in 2nd floor , should i have a large cable that cross all the door to get connected with this camera outside?
Hi Bryanmorote, You need an Ethernet cable to go from the RLN 8-410 (NVR) to the Camera to get the video feed and send power via POE which is easer then separate power. The (NVR) Network Video Recorder can be anywhere you want. If you want to connect it to the internet then you just need to run an Ethernet cable to it from your existing network ie your router. Best to place the NVR in a location where you have power and running the cables to the cameras are easier than worry about how you will connect the NVR to the home network. You don't need easy access to the NVR once it's all setup as long as you have connected to your network. Or you can have it run without connecting it to the internet/network but you will need easy access to the NVR to play back videos and download to USB. I hope this helps. All the best Dave
