I have a shot mantra, always have. And it evolves over time as circumstance and requirement dictates.
Sometimes, on the rarest of occasions the mantra flows backwards, as does the arrow from target back to my bow.
These are the shots that were never going miss, whose flight was predetermined.
The arrow of time CAN fly in both directions it seems.

Today I watched you talking with Clay Hayes about target panic and I had suffered thru this many years ago shooting a compound. Having switched to the longbow about a year ago I just started recently having trouble at any extended distance. Well this morning I went out with a determined attitude and tried the method of creating the air bubble between my toung and roof of my mouth and it worked amazing I don't even remember letting it go but wow it really helped me out . Thank you Sir .

Absolutely excellent video. I hit what I am aiming at much more often than I don't but I've never made a "good" shot. This content is what so many people like myself have been trying to figure out. Oh, and I'm here because your son knocked it out of the park at Lancaster! Unreal!

Last two kill shots bucks started with string to ear 1 string on the nose 2 , center my sight with peep 3, pin on specific spot on deer 4. It put everything together. Shots were on. Thank you for this video.. One of the best helpful videos I have seen..

My "execution mantra".....I say to myself, 'anchor, focus, pull through'' and the arrow is gone. Sometimes I let down so as to keep things in control. One real danger for me is to over think the process. This is supposed to be fun, not stressful.

Thanks for your advice! I'm struggling very much with getting a controlled shot cycle. It is particularly bad in stressful situations (competitions), where I can not control my shots. The arrow just flies out and the more I try and think about holding it, the worse it gets. It is mostly the first shot that goes wrong.... i go up to the target, do my shot cycle and right before I can come to my anchor and find my timing, the arrow already flies (and misses, most of the time...). Happens only in competitions or other stressful situations. So far, I can't find a way to get rid of that :(

Can this be applied towards snap shooting? I’m a bit curious because I feel like by the time I finish this process I’m no longer snap shooting.
