Thank you for the video - my brain retains information (or rather can assimilate or accommodate new information) presented in this formate way better than trying to read lecture slides lol so thank you!

Thank you for discussing it so clearly....And I would add that throughout the life the schemas are modified with new knowledge...It may be faster at early stages of life though, but it is a continuous process if cognitive development is taking place...

This also applies to adults. Every interaction we have in life either either assimilates or accommodates into our schema. If you have ever wondered how people can be so stupid and believe some of the things the mass media, governments, and corporations put out for social consumption, its because they are using weaponized nueroscience, and are effectively creating new schema for people around specific subjects. Once we incorporate those schema into our minds, its extremely difficult to retract that disinformation. As a result, we use the new schema as building blocks for concepts, and our thoughts and actions are manipulated via those new concepts. For instance, (yes I know this is controversial, but it is a good example) five years ago, if you had asked people how many genders are there, 99% of the people would have said two. Now, many people wouldn't know how to answer that question because their schema has been modified.
