Just bought the 2400. I did splurge because my original budget was $100. But ink will cost much less over the long run. HP just admitted to a huge marketing mistake. Forced ink subscriptions which can shut you down. No more cartridges form me. What was HP thinking ?
Btw I have these both as well, and I have an HP printer as well that only has buttons and no display screen, they don’t need a wire, they actually produce their own WiFi connection for initial connection to the WiFi
If you don't print a test page, the print head can clog. Don't do repeated deep cleanings, print a test page instead. Just search 'printer purge sheet' download one and make sure you print it once a week - if you don't use your printer every day. 🙂🇬🇧
@@NigelShepherd-z7k Thank you. So printing the test page (I believe it is called a nozzle check) is not enough to exercise the printer? I worry the purge pages will use up too much ink. No?
@Alien2799 Most welcome 😁 You can try a nozzle check for sure but you are right, never print purge pages if you can avoid it because the ink isn't going anywhere... its not spread onto paper and just stays in the machine. Printing solid blocks of colour is much more effective 👍😏
As i wrote on the video, in person they look exactly the same. Probably because both of these printers are sharing the same internal components. I have a light spot on my left side and it was shining directly on the left side paper. This makes it look faded.I didn't notice this until I was reviewing the footage.
very helpful video, thank you

greed?
Thank you this great video. Will help when my printer arrives tomorrow.
Great review. Thanks for keeping to the point and giving great info!
What is the difference in how much blank paper I can load? Do you know if I need to get additional drivers for either one?

Great video. Thank you
What do you mean by "you have to print a test page at least once a week?" What is the test page? Thank you

So double sided or no?
I don’t have my glasses on and I can see the 2800 prints much better
sorry, but even on my old monitor I see a difference in print quality in favor of the et-2800

GO with the screen, the extra $$ will be paid back quickly in time saved.
