  • While the concrete cures other projects keep on going. Everyone is busy doing punch list. Time to hit the play button on the paused projects. Our guest head out on their road adventure on the Honda Rebel. Bridge and pond project get fired back up. Hanging gates on the driveway, moving top soil in where I am shaping for landscaping and future plants, the cabin continues getting worked on. Good life here on the beach. Now no castle is complete if your not grilling in your garage and feeding your QUEEN on a ice chest. Top of the Line here.
We are a Fil Am couple sharing our lives between living in Texas USA and Iloilo City on Panay Island Philippines. We share dealing with two different cultures, building our solid concrete cast in place home beach side and exploring/ seeking new things. We hope you enjoy and join to be part of a bigger family here on this channel.
Thank you for being apart of our channel and lives.

“Philippines is a country with a lot of bureaucracy.” You got that right. A lot of patience is needed in the Philippines. That’s just the way it is. That clip about the concrete was very interesting cheers.

James, with that fancy empire you’ve built, you should have a fancy outdoor grilling area. Imagine a nice big grill with griddle, grilling plates, burners, etc., then add a big flat screen tv, tables n chairs, beer/soda fridge, etc. I know you have your outdoor kitchen, but a separate designated grilling station would be very nice. Someday, I may want to be a tenant in that paradise of y’all’s, so I can fish for life. 😆

    mint (thinking chocolate)
want to say dill but looks off little bit
Anaheim or poblano, still early to tell what variety
more peppers, not a good view
    ginger
    maybe lemon grass
want to say tarragon but don't think it has purple flowers
    sweet basil
    next to it not sure?
Would help to have better view of the plants

    • @TexasFilipino

Never have we had anything like that. We are in a close knit community with 90 percent being relatives ( GOOD RELATIVES) Even the ones that treated me hard years past treat me the best now. I'm sorry you experienced that. People are people everywhere in the world. So many attitudes. No need to mug us. They know we will find a way to help if they truly honestly need it

@@TexasFilipino You're 100% correct about the bureaucracy. We got married in Philippines and it was days filled with a class at the health department, hours in queues, told to be one place and then being told to go to another place and get a tax stamp and come back. All worth it though! Philippines is serious with marriage, you have to be dedicated just to make it through that first challenge in your new life together lol.
We are excited to one day move back to Philippines, sometimes we miss the inconveniences. It's an adventure and such an amazing country and people.
