Wow, thank you for all your beautiful comments! 🥰 Quite a few people have emailed me wanting to know if they can buy Lapo’s olive oil. Yes, you can and they send it all over the world. You can email him directly here: info@fattoriavolmiano.com 🫒🫒🫒
This kitchen is exactly how I would want to renovate my kitchen! It has everything exactly as how I would imagine it to be! We even have the chimney ready for this design... OMG.... This is going on my moodboard!
As I’m watching this, the tears gently roll down my face. I finally finished photo albums today with my great grandparents and down to us six siblings. I wanted them all in chronological order. So I redid them. Thinking back as far as i can remember (which is age 4-5), the memories. Old fashion cooking and traditions. The garden, fresh vegetables and small live stock. I gravitated to my father’s Italian side. Helping in the garden, fresh cooking from scratch. Watching this video, i felt at home again. Haven’t felt that in many years. I live alone and wasn’t blessed to have children, so watching these videos truly go to my heart. Thank you so much for sharing. I can watch them everyday. I say a prayer for you and your family everyday. Xoxo
What wonderful people, culture and hospitality. Thank you for sharing such A beautiful meal with All of us. I feel like I was watching from the table the whole time. God Bless all Mankind
Thank you Kylie and Guido for sharing your visit with Vittoria Gondi and Lapo. Such wonderful episode- wonderful friends, delicious food, breathtaking scenery! Vittoria is so elegant and the family history seems amazing. Really enjoyed this visit. Stay well ❤
So so so incredibly lovely that your life long Italian friend & his family opened their home to the world for all of us to get a amazing glimps into their phenomenal Italian: home, life, garden, beautiful olive groves and amazing Italian cooking. Grazie Greetings from Sunny Florida USA.🌞 & 🏝💙
Nice video Kylie 👍🏻. Surroundings, people, hospitality, joy, humbleness, mankind all these are there in their purest form. Very nice. Actually agriculture is the purest and best profession in my view. Simple and healthy , wealthy countryside living is my favourite. Far from the madding and greedy crowd indulge in useless and hollow rat race. ❤ love from India 🇮🇳 👍🏻🙏🏻
What an amazing man Lapo is, and how special this friendship is. He truly is one of a kind, I hope he has someone special that appreciates his talents and beautiful soul 🙏🏽 What a lovely episode, thank you Kylie
Such a wonderful kitchen, I would have a hard time leaving it. Listening to Vittoria speaking about the history of different food dishes was interesting. The next time I spill oil, I will be putting some vinegar there as well. Thank you all for a beautiful, informative episode, simply wonderful.
What a fabulous place to visit and the beautiful surrounding area stunning. Love the family and the hospitality and love brought tears to my eyes. Delicious meal and fellowship. I agree that life needs to be slower, the old ways were so special that have been lost. The matriarch of the family was correct in stating that young ladies of today do not cook and it’s really sad. The history of this family was wonderful to hear and I appreciate each one of you for sharing it with us. I have to admit that I teared up more than once during this video. I appreciate everything you share with us. thank you for sharing your visit with this lovely family. ❤❤❤
Just wonderful. And I was moved to tears when I saw the Tuscan Bread... No words to describe my father having this bread with Tuscan Olive Oil. Thank you, Kylie!
Gorgeous family and video. She is special. And she is right about what Italy brought that we claim as French! We French do love Catherine of Medici. She also brought to the table eating with a fork!!! The Catholic Church here was not a fan of hers as she brought so many great changes and was becoming more and more popular. I was lucky enough to be married in one of her compounds when they tried to overtake Siena! Thank you Kylie and thank you Catherine 🇫🇷🇮🇹
What a warm and inviting family to share their home and conversation with us. Thank you! I agree that we should take the time to make healthy, simple meals to share with friends and family.
How great to hear the story that's commonly called "the Italians taught the French how to cook" from descendents of people who were actually there with Catherine Medici. Che bellissimo il film!
So lovely! Thank you for the subtitles, they are so helpful in learning Italian. So happy to see the old ways continue! May they do so forever. Grazie mille Kylie!
Beautiful slice of life, as usual with your videos, Kylie. Cooking is a delight. I hope people get back to making this a priority in their life... seems important since we must eat to sustain our bodies and homemade is always better than restaurant or packaged food. Thank you for encouraging this!
What a beautiful day you had. Thank you so much for taking us along. What a delight it was, every sentence, every item chopped and added, I hung on every word, every detail. You lift my spirits. Grazie mille.
Kyle, good day from the great United States of America....so beautiful is that kitchen, and that dog is full of personality!!! What a delightful day, wine, oil, food pie oh my running to my kitchen hunting something to cook....ahhh found the wine!! Lol
It is videos like this one that set you apart as an artist and storyteller--capturing such raw beauty, tradition, and relationship! Truly stunning. Brava!

I enjoyed the comfort of conversation about the history of the Italian food and of course the laughter. It was such a pleasure, thank you Kylie.
Loved the episode. For a minute I got lost in the panorama of olive trees. Vittoria, what a charming soft lady. Loved listening to her. Gianfranco talkative and adorable. 🎉 ❤ Gorgeous moments. I need Victoria's cookbook in my life. That crema di ceci looks wow. 😊
Kylie this episode was just so beautifully filmed music so nostalgic Your interview skills are just wow I have lost both my parents and watching this amazing mother and son cooking whole some and traditional food just heart warming thank god through you and your family we can see in practice what life is about family food wine and passing on tradition Just thank you Sabrina from Melbourne Australia
The cauliflower (just came in from raking leaves for four hours and wanted to some!), little Gianfranco rubbing his fingers together and listening with such intensity, and what happened with that copper pot on the wall, the fire made it shine and grab one's attention, then it was missing off the wall, then it was back, kind of looked like the mirror in Cinderella - ok, back to reality. Your photography was superb, yet again. Your mother-in-law (just by the way you treat this woman) is a lucky woman that Guido married you. I watched this twice (thus noticing the glowing pot on the wall the second time around) was doing dishes, and I watched the commercials all the way through because I think you get credit for us watching all of it - if that is not true let me know and I will skip over them faster than a New York minute! Love your channel, always have, most likely always will. Blessings to you and your family, and God's angels watching over your health, easy, painless, healthy birth - I am keep you in my prayers until he and you come out healthy and happy....
A moment to escape, how wonderful to spend time in this beautiful kitchen, listening to stories of the past. Thank you for a lovely film and for Guido's family friends for sharing this time. 😊😊
This was so beautiful! I love the conversation about traditional cooking and getting back to being sustainable. That massive fire in the kitchen and the water coming from a spring - wow!! Thank you for sharing this with us, Kylie! As always, you do such a wonderful job creating videos that invoke such beauty and feeling.
Than you Kylie! I especially love your cooking episodes in the warmth of family and friends!!! Such a blessing to me in America where we are in turbulant times....thank you for your beautiful peaceful posts that give me solace

So beautifully filmed. What a wonderful woman and cook Vittoria Gondi is. It did not surprise me the link with the Medici family, many years ago I bought the book 'Lorenza's Pasta' and she used to have a show on TV. Ohhh I’m in heaven. I’m making the soup today but I don’t have access to Toscanini garbanzo beans. Such an elegant chef - pearls and wool jacket. ❤❤❤ the history too
Interesting how the Italian culture shares the cooking experience with their guests while American's feel the pressure of having everything ready before guests arrive. And I agree with you Kylie that more and more people are turning to growing and preserving food. Thank you for taking us along, it was a visual treat.
What a gift! Grazie per tutto, Kylie. I felt like being there. As a French , I am not so surprised by the macaron, almonds are a big deal in Italy and France tiptoed in it fairly recently in the history of cuisine, from North African influences and Italian neighbours, for sure almonds are 'casi' sacred !
