Irreplaceable is right. I don’t know how Foo Fighters can continue. Josh Freese comes to mind, but…. I don’t know. Too soon. Taylor was lightning and thunder. An earthquake. A force of nature. And Dave’s best friend. And his poor kids. Damn. The First Law of Thermodynamics says that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but… where does that much energy even GO?? Rest In Peace, Taylor Hawkins. He leaves a vast emptiness in his wake.
@@WhyTheHorseface Yes, he was a major part of the Foo Fighter's sound that we've come to love and you just can't pop someone else in there. I doubt Dave will dissolve the Foos but I also don't see them picking up again quickly like ZZ Top. However, they do have a Grammy performance coming up and I wouldn't be surprised if they played something subdued without any drums. I would imagine any new drummer would have to be another close friend of the band because getting that chemistry back will be tough.
