This young dude isn't just Taylors kid getting a sympathy guest appearance, he's a beast in his own right. What an awesome drummer. His future is bright!
Exactly, 100%, just like his father! Looks even more like his dad now with that longer hair, too. Glad his dads genes were passed onto him in a big way. The only thing I got from my dad was a hard time, extreme irritation, and a heads-up to never have children. Lol. Seriously though, Shane's going to be something big in his Lifetime, no doubt about it. 🙂👍
Shane knows their back catalogue more than Josh does, was literally brought up on the road with FF. I just think he’d be a better fit. No disrespect to Josh, but I’d of picked Shane over Josh.
A legacy. Bound in blood and soul. Watching this young man play and seeing parts of his father is extraordinary. He also has the energy of Dave Grohl in his Nirvana days. And he has some of his fathers mannerisms. You can feel the love. You can feel it all.
What I see|feel|hear is Shane beating out his sorrow, his grief, his loss and his anger on those skins. A brilliant rock drummer? Hell yes. God bless and carry on, Shane. Your dad would be proud.
I hope it's also a healing way of honouring his dad and feeling close to him. I have thought that from the first time watching Shane play. He definitely hits like Dave. Taylor was talking about how Shane loved Nirvana more than foo fighters bc he liked Dave’s style.
