Nice job on your rebuild. Great to see someone go right threw it crank and up. very helpful for us do-it-yourselfers like us. Only advice I can give is putting the wye pipe on before torking the heads helps center the heads avoids leaking exaust gaskets. I'm no pro just watch a lot of videos made sense to me. Thanks and keep up good work.
Here's a little tip put your exhaust y pipe on cylinders and tighten them before tourqing your cylinders it's centers your cylinders and prevents exhaust leaks .
I usually put the Y pipe for the exhaust on to center the jugs I'm gonna try the way you showed in this video next time! Thanks for the tips and video good content bud!
@@curtiswalshmedia3194 in the schematic it’s still calls for it, im pretty sure it’s harmless to use it extensively, for next time install the crank seals with isoflex spread on them, and with the motor in the sled tighten the y pipe before the cylinders and then put the head on.

Appreciate the tip! Thanks for watching Joesph.
Thanks for the video! watching engine builds are pretty satisfying
So glad you enjoyed!
You do really good videos and you are also really good at explaining, hope you do more videos this winter, you are really underrated!
Thanks so much!! Posting a suspension video now.
The stator bolts that go right thru to the crank is where you inject isoflex into the mag side bearing!

Great job
You forgot to do the Y pipe first before tightening the heads if not oil leak lol
Where is the next video? This was 8 months ago
Great video very helpful!!
Excellent
No loctite 518 on the base gasket?
Never thought of turn the motor over without torquing the jugs to center them
Seemed to work well!

hi just wonder how many foot pounds you torqued the crank case bolts
Sorry buddy, I can't remember right now. The info should be on the forums!
Just wondering how much did the cost you!? I’m doing a rebuild on 800R p-tek from a summit
Unfortunately I don't remember, check the MCB Performance website! I bought the full kit, minus cylinders.
NCC-1701 how did you make out ? I'm about to do the same rebuild.
Did you isoflex the mag side bearing?
There was isoflex pre-applied to the bearing! The mag side isn't sealed off like the PTO side is.

@@brandonshogren5621 Thanks so much for the information! Let's hope I don't have to do this again. Ha.
