    It never ceases to amaze me the sheer power of language to bring people together. There is nothing more precious, more comforting than to here one’s own language in a foreign land. Mike you are approachable and you exude kindness. After having taken 3 trips to Jordan myself the past 4 months, I have grown to love and appreciate the Arab culture and language. SO when I happened to come across your UTube channel and I saw this Anglo speaking perfect Arabic- I was floored ! Keep up the incredible work Mike !

    It’s sad how some people just stereotypically imagine Arabs as rich spoilt people, they are genuinely kind and respectful and friendly people. So you guys have my respect

    After watching this, I miss my Saudi friends from Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca and Dammam 😢❤️ During that time, I'm not be able learn Arabic with them because they came to Malaysia to learn English. We only communicate using English language. And now I realized that I love Arabic language ❤️ I wish I can learn Arabic language

    Really impressed on your pronunciation. As a Khaleeji Arab myself I have never came across a British person who can speak Arabic like you. If I do they can’t pronounce word properly. Well done keep it up and maybe could you do a video called chatting with Emiratis because I would love that so much!!!!!

      I live in Dubai right now, and I think it will be cool if I could speak like the local does or could like understand it....I have Arab friends who told me it's not possible but nahhhh..still working it out.

      Jennine Dyssabel Soquila The dialects are easier then the general Arabic, I'm an Arabic Poet and to be honest with you, it's more complicated then Russian language.. + you need to spell ع which is a'a, like when Mike said Jami'a - University.. you need to practice for it

    I'm half Arab and I really want to learn how to speak Arabic the only Arabic I know is the few verses I know from Quran, the word 'merhaba', 'salam ailaikom', 'walakam salam' and 'la' which I think means no I really want to learn Arabic as it's my dad's mother tongue and now he's passed away so I can't learn now

      The Jordanians are nicest people on earth. I went to Jordan on a holiday trip and people were lovely. Their food was heaven. I hope to go back again. I loved their food. Yummy.

I was wondering if Arabs were nice warm people indeed or if their English accent were giving me that impression - don't know why -, but it seems they are quite warm, actually. That was nice when they recognized you, I was like "yaaay!". Amazing video.

      Arabs are very friendly and one of the most hospitable people. As a Saudi i can say for a fact most Arabs really want to make friends from different countries. its just sometimes the miscommunication really make them feel cold . and the language may seem kinda of rough to forgieners to hear.

    Lol. Sometimes I see someone who looks like a Muslim or a girl wearing a hijab, and I want to walk up to him or her and say السلام عليكم and practice my Arabic.
    I don't do this because I remember one time I saw an Asian lady and I tried to talk to her in Chinese, but then she told me she was from Malaysia, so I don't want this to happen to me again. :P

      Not every Muslim or Hijabi girl will speak Arabic.
      It's only Arabs who will speak Arabic.
      There non-Arab Muslims that won't speak or understand Arabic. They have their own language.

      Ahahaha it’s funny because I get it in the opposite way! I am from Italy and I became muslim and since then I get people speaking to me in Arabic (because of my hijab I assume) and it gets so awkward when I spontaneously make an extremely confused face 😂😂😂 I recently started to study it so in the future I can avoid these types of situations hopefully 😂

      Not a single Arab (apart from the Jordanians) said anything about visiting our museums, libraries etc. All of them are interested in shopping. Not surprised you don’t hear about them in the sciences or arts. Oh well.

      sportsmusiclover I'm not Arab and the only reason we go London is to go around shopping and so on because the shopping is great what's so bad about that? If we have tourists then we go to them kind of places. The shopping in London is good and they could have been there for a while and already seen places like that as I see plenty of arabs in the museums, you never really know.

    I am watching Mike's video for the first time and i am impressed with his arabic. Its amazing! I was thinking "is he arab or what? But he doesn't look arab" lol
    He is even good at letters such as ع ، غ and ث. Many prople struggle with these.

    When you were speaking to the Qatari brother it reminded me what a Swiss colleague said to me. Many Gulf Arabs love to escape to cooler, rainy wet regions in Europe to the extent in certain parts of Switzerland, for their rainy months the Swiss authorities are more than happy to welcome Arabs officially as there is huge economic boost due to tourism..... MashaAllah Mike it seems you have all the good attributes of the best of Gulf Arabs. Keep up the fantastic work akhi.
